Lorenzo Insigne (21, Napoli)
-Our potential perfect fit striker
-extremely good on the ball, very fast (one of the fastest players I've seen), takes players on from outside the box (is a small target man), is not selfish (he players other players) and seems to be a very good finisher.
-can also play winger and cam

-Transfermrkt says he is worth 11m Euros, right up our alley
-They have Cavani destroying it right now, so he is attainable
-He is at the time where you buy him now, because his value will start shooting up.

My view:
The guy reminds me of a mixture of Tevez's qualities as a striker and Mata's vision of the field and movement across the pitch. The guy is going to be a beast but hasn't had a huge shot yet at striker yet because of Cavani. He has mostly been filling Lavezzi's spot if that says anything to his quality and pace.

EDIT:

Here is his goal from the other night (01:34, sc doesn't allow linking to a time :/)

d1e0e9fb606ac0531c68f729763f00f2.jpeg

Key attribute's:
  • Good at passing to his teammates
  • Good at keeping the ball
  • Good vision
  • Good at shielding the ball
  • Likes to draw in the foul
  • Unfortunately he is a bit slow, off the ball
Here is him at his very best

Possible Fee:Free, fortunately today was his last fixture for Swansea

I have a funny feeling he is going to get a Chelsea Grin.

These caught my intentions:

Nacer Chadli, 23, Twente winger, many of you have seen him live. Scored against us in CL. Contract ends in 2014.

Bas Dost, dutch striker at Wolffsburg. 6ft 4 in, just what we need up front. Also 23 of age.

Didn't Bas Dost sign this summer? There were some discussions about him before he signed for Wolfsburg. Beast of a player, at least at Herenveen. Good replacement for Dzeko at Wolfsburg.

Of any I have seen this is the best, great find, he seems to have it all, great finishing from anywhere, pace, power and vision. Looks like they have a ready made replacement if they needed it.

Let's do it. Who's going to ring Levy and tell him the good news?

Whats the odds on OP actually being just a really lazy Spurs Scout lol? Seriously though I'm suprised clubs don't take advantage of communities like these. Thousands of members from all over the world who watch thousands of hours of footy. A free army of scouts that could be used to feed ideas to the pro's

It really wouldn't surprise me if some do just that for initial info. Some if the players that have been said before on here, sometimes years ahead as well. I would imagine a lot of the biggest clubs forums are the same.

You get a lot of crap but some really stand out, as above, the lad looks excellent

Don't you wish it worked like that? Post something on here, then a few days later, read in the press that we are linked with him.

Sold. If we chip in £50 each how many people would it take to buy him?!!

i watched valencia away to deportivo last night and they brought on a young spanish left winger named juan bernat

looked very quick, skillful, capable with the ball at his feet and put in a good low cross for their equaliser. one to watch out for i think.

I wish I was a Spurs scout but sadly not, do we have any ?

In other news I can report that Newcastle have fired their scouting team as Mike Ashley figured out they were simply implementing the tips of our very own Spursking :)

Another one I've touted elsewhere around here is Felipe Anderson.

I think he'll be the next big, young Brazilian name that a lot of the bigger clubs will want.

Can play RW/LW/AM/CM and I just think he's a fantastic talent.

Turns 20 in April, but with his turn of pace, dribbling, shot, and strength on the ball, I think he's going to turn into a a real player.

Nearly went lazio on deadline day, has a 7.5m euro buyout clause. I'm not sure exactly what happened from what I've read there was an issue with third party ownership but lazio agreed to give them a 30% sell on fee but it was too late for the paper work.

If he can play the three positions behind the striker and at that fee I think it's something spurs should look at in the summer

Yeah, I thought I heard somewhere his release clause was pretty low. If that's true it's a no-brainer for me. One for the future for sure. Thanks for the information, I didn't even know he was linked to Nazio.

Seems like a cheaper realistic alternative to willian even if we had to give him time to find his feet but looks like the type we should be after.

I think we should petition levy to get you a job as a scout

Just wanted to mention that I'm hoping we are looking at both Pedro Obiang and Mauro Icardi of Sampdoria.

Both are young talents (Obiang is 20, Icardi is 19) and could provide us incredibly valuable depth/upside at positions of need. In Obiang's case in CM in the Dembele role as he's an incredibly gifted dribbler of the ball and he's a creative passer. And in regards to Icardi, he'd give us a true striker talent for the future.

I'm guessing this Summer will be the last time we could realistically afford the two of them should they stay with Sampdoria until January 2014. So, unless we want another "Isco situation" on our hands, we've got to land them early, even if they aren't quite ready to be full-time starters.

Icardi's 4-goal performance against Pescara:

Notes:

- In that video, the through ball for Icardi's 2nd goal comes from Obiang.

And another compilation of Icardi (Last goal in the video is assisted by Obiang):

A package deal of those two would be incredible in my mind.
