Richarlison - Winger - Watford FC

This kid is a real find for Watcord and he is taking people on for fun. It will be interesting to see his development this season.

A talent yes but barring breaking the bank for Sessegnon in January/next summer, Premiership talent is going to be completely unattainable due to the extortionate fees required to sign them.

Yeah for sure, but would rather have a PL proven player for 30 then a GKN for 11 or whatever he went for. He is going to be a player. Tricky but has the work ethic.

I think the point is it's going to be closer to double that price than being just 30.

For one season? I can't imagine him doing completely taking on the league and just boosting his value up to 60.
We just broke our transfer record and went over 30mil on a player with only one season in Europe let alone the Premier League.

This market is bananas and I don't see it suddenly slowing down.

Drinkwater and Oxlade-Chamberlain (with one year left on his contract) were bought for over 30 mil. Sigurdsson was what? Over 50?

So yeah a young player with pace and tons of potential who is providing goals and assists almost immediately and on a long contract term will easily demand well over 30 million.

Agree the market is inflated. Will see I guess.

Totally agree. Caught my eye a few times already this season. Certainly gets about, and links their play well.

I haven't really seen him play apart from MOTD highlights so nothing really to base an opinion of a player on. That article caught my eye though. Actually I wonder if Man City have a buy back though like with Ihaeanicho

As the article states, he does seem an intelligent player football wise. From what I've seen very good at finding pockets of space all over.

I am a bit tired of the head lines that Spurs are looking for a new Bale or a new Modric or a new Dele etc. etc. They are simply looking for top quality talent which and be harnessed into EPL quality players. If hey look for a new Bale or Modric they will never find any anyway (McEvoy is the closest they will ever be to a "new" Bale ).
However, these are 2 of the players Spurs are apparently keeping an eye on:

I really like the look of Alassane Plea at OGC Nice.

He's got pace, power, and is a good finisher.

I think he could fill a similar role to Son except off of the right as a player that could theoretically fill in for Kane but could also play with him.

Overall OGC Nice is a good team to watch if you've got nothing better to do. They play some good football and have several really good intriguing players like Sarr, Marlon, Cyprien, Seri, Koziello, Saint-Maximin, etc.

Looking for some bargains in this crazy market and those with contracts ending at the end of the season:

Pre-contracts in January?

Messi........sorry just had to point it out

Jose Giminez from Atletico - likely to go to a Utd or City but pretty good from what I've seen of him, he's young, and he has a bit of the Dier flexibility in him in that he can play in midfield or as a RB if needed.

Stefan De Vrij from Lazio - not sure he's the Poch type of defender so not overly keen

Leon Goretzka from Schalke - don't know much about this one but he's young and a German international so I'm guessing he has his uses - anyone got an insight on him?

Max Mayer also form Schalke - I like this kid, saw him in a few U21s for Germany a few years ago and he looked bright. Haven't seen him recently so not sure how he has progressed but very young still and could be an interesting addition to the front 3?

Bernard from Shakhtar - remember him from a few years ago, a fair few on here wanted him. Not sure he adds enough and would personally prefer Mayer but he's available...

also mostly past it or not what we need Joao Moutinho ........Andres Iniesta........Balotelli (just saying).....Robben....Ribery....Hatem Ben Arfa....Kwadwo Asamoah

Interesting how many Prem players are coming to the end of their contracts too, Utd and Arsenal risk losing a fair amount of investment for nothing at the end of the season (not saying we should pick any of them up but you'd think if they wanted rid they would have done more in the past window - this doesn't happen under Levy)

Barkley obviously
Alexis Sanchez - Arsenal
Ozil - Arsenal
Wilshere - Arsenal
Santi Cazorla - Arsenal
Juan Mata - Utd
Andre Herrera - Utd
Daley Blind - Utd
Luke Shaw - Utd
Fellaini - Utd
Fernandinho - City
Emre Can - Liverpool

Would take Herrera from Utd, seems to have lost his place this season.

But read that he wanted £200k of something ridiculous, pass then sadly.
