I remember, just over a year ago, posting about the increase in Spurs share prices. At the time, they went from something like 29p to 42p per share over a few weeks. I wondered if something was happening in the background, but was informed by other (more worldly) Community colleagues that this was just due to the vaguaries of the market.

I have recently noticed a similar phenomenon reoccurring. A month or so ago, the prices were in the 40s. Then they began to creep up. Within the last week they have passed 60p and today they have hit 70p.

Again I wonder if something is afoot. Maybe it's just all these foreign investors coming into the premiership which makes all football stocks more valuable.

I only have a very few shares - for sentimental reasons only. I am therefore not interested in the money. I am just curious.
Anyone out there able to shed any light?

It's probably because our shareholders know we're getting Ronaldinho and Robben in January.

My shares were £1 each when I bought them, it wasn't long after we'd signed Klinsmann

I think you have hit the nail on the head here. I would read nothing more into it than that.

For a long while the certificate's embossed paper was more valuable than the printed content.
Any future forced by backs will have to bring an army...it ain't goin' nowhere.
Looks excellent in a frame....though there are times it's 'made to face the wall'. (Emirates anyone?)
