He certainly possesses the close control & inventiveness to be a part of the squad, however, he hasn't always the been a model professional that the Poch demands. Prior to the tournament, Quintero had lost focus, got fat & even fancied himself as a musician, which certainly wouldn't be music to the gaffer's ears. Granted he's turned himself around & looks a very good prospect during the tournament & if the finance works he may well be a shrewd purchase.

The boss would have to have one of those special phone conversations in order to gauge whether he thinks he'll be a dependable pro who can improve the squad.

Hmmm, think of the relatively disappointing purchases after tournaments.... Dumitrasecu , Popescu , Rebrov etc.
Quintero has looked v good, but WC footy is VERY different from the Prem.

I'll just trust Poch, Levy and the scouting staff to make the right deals.

Still think Modric would be an awesome 2 year deal?!
