Argentinian international and a cracking player. Betis hoping he shines in Copa America starting June 15th and ups his value. We need to get a deal done quickly and I doubt that bid is high enough....80m euros nearer the mark.Love to see him in the team.

if Betis determines to hold out for Copa America then there is nothing we can do unless we pay the release clause which is around 100m...:X3:

Always the chance it backfires and he has a bad tournament but it does bring him to the attention of a lot more clubs. Perhaps the Argentina /Poch combination will prove a good lure. He really is a class act. I'd offer 80m euros and see what happens. Reports out already that our initial bid has been rejected.

We'll ffind out later today if we have any chance of Grealish who has the HG bonus we need. If we can't do anything there I'd love us to go hard for LoCelso. Him and Ndombele would be a huge statement.
