    CARLING CUP:

Tottenham take on the winner of the postponed quarter-final between Liverpool and Arsenal.

    Source:BBC

Spurs will host the first leg on 17 January and will travel to Anfield or the Emirates Stadium one week later. <!-- E SF -->

The quarter-final between Liverpool and Arsenal has been rearranged for 9 January.

Wycombe's reward for upsetting Charlton in the Carling Cup is a semi-final against Premiership champions Chelsea.

The League Two outfit will host Jose Mourinho's side on 9 or 10 January, with the away leg two weeks later.

We are going to win it, so I don't care who we meet on our way... I'd love us to take a revenge on the Ars* though...
  2. GDG
That's a bummer - would have been nice to draw Wycombe, but hey ho, gotta beat these teams sometime, haven't we? Of the two I'd rather meet Liverpool, perrsonally.
  3. guate
Bring them on, is what I say.

If we're going to win this cup, then we might as well do it the right way and a win against either the Arse anal or Pool will fire us up nicely for a final against Cheski

    QUE VIVA LOS SPURS

aw man, would of wanted wycombe, but hey...bring on the scousers or arse.

will be tough to get to the final and then beat chelsea

This will be great experience for the team regardless of the result.I know we would all like to make the final but playing big games against top sides is what it is all about.
    COYS!!!!!!!

    Don't you mean a final against Wycombe?
  9. markspurs
payback time maybe, first leg is at home so who ever we have we need to take a lead to there place.

Normally I think playing the away leg first would be an advantage but in this case I think having the first game at home is a good thing

What with our results at Anfield and the Library this season I think taking something to defend at either place would be a totally different scenario for us.

Just need to win the home leg hey

The players should definitely be up for this game especially if it is the gooners. We owe them one after they took advantage of our bad day at the office.
  12. mawspurs
    make that games

shame about not getting Wycombe, but hope we get Arsenal now, will be a great game, this time let us play Huddlestone, and he will distroy their defence with his passing and holding play and still unbeaten when he as started a match
  14. spursmat
Yep bring on the scum we owe them one! Altho I think Spurs v Scouse would be 2 entertaining games!

    Spurs V Arsenal

I do hope we have the ex Arsenal and attacking midfield Jamie O'Hara on the bench against Arsenal, he will come on and score the winning goal against his former employees. If it is against Liverpool can always put Danny Murphy on the bench.
