Wembley? A much longer and more difficult journey for me. A lot will depend on ease of acess and other facilities for disabled.
I just hope the club doesn't give in to these 'blackmailers' whose greed has caused this problem.

Wembley sounds perfect. I live 10 min from the ground. So spurs fans party at my house every week. Drinks all night. Lol

I just wonder how the local businesses will react, knowing full well that they will lose a considerable amount of business for one year.

edit - never mind I read it now.

Can some one give me an incredibly short summary of what the hold up is please?

Is it govt red tape or a private owner refusing to sell?

From everything I've heard, Wembley is not an option. The FA isn't keen and there is already too much scheduled for Wembley during the calendar year and there is (bizarrely) a cap on how many 'major' events Wembley can host during a calendar year.

Its almost certainly going to be either Milton Keynes or Brighton. The chances of us staying in London for that year are minimal.

According to the OS we have been trying to reach agreement with this company for seven years.

Bloody crazy that a tiny little company can hold up a major development like this that will regenerate the whole area for the benefit of all the local residents.

I pray that we share a ground in London. I really dont fancy the expense of MK or Brighton, as I'm pretty sure my oystercard wont cover me to either of those!
Given that Saracens RFC rent Wembley for a few games each season ,couldn't we rent it for our biggest games? Maybe the extra income would cover the shortfall in revs for the rest of the games at MK or whereever?
