I seriously doubt this is true. Smoke to push WBA into selling Berahino?

With Clinton signing, he is not the player we need. IF we were to sell Townsend or Lamela, then I would prefer Yarmolenko.

We need a striker (Berahino) and a DM. This is all Bolasie's agent allegedly.

How can we know if he's a one season wonder until, well, the end of this season. The same could be said of Kane (who I really like), and United - allegedly - offering stupid money for him.
Unfortunately, if he has another good season, then he'll be out of our reach. So with us, there's always a risk involved. But, he could be the next Modric/Bale/Berba etc.

Are you talking about Bolassie? He's been around a while now and has never been anything other than wildly inconsistent. 7 goals in 108 appearances at Palace across Championship and prem says it all. He is 26 years old and whist he has moments of getting the fans out of their seats and excited he also has moments of absolute WTF just happened there.

Whilst not the worst player in the world if we are going to spend some money there are a lot of better players to go after.

----------Pretty sure this is a bullshit story stemming from Bollasie being on compassionate leave-----------------

Yeah, to be honest, don't know anything about him! I (wrongly as it turned out) assumed he was new on the scene due to the 'he's a one season wonder comments on here'. That'll teach me to comment without reading the article :censored:

Lol I live in south london/surrey area and Palace are the local team. I keep an eye on them and have seen him a lot. My Palace mates weren't too bothered about selling Zaha to united as they had Bollassie. Now they realise how wrong they are and I'm sure would sell him to us.

He is the sort of player that can look great on soccer AM show boat etc but if you watch him in a game a lot of it is for the camera's and basic things like positioning and passing are terrible.

Puncheon isn't our level either but If we were to sign a palace player I would have him or Zaha over Bollassie any day...

If we are so desperate for a winger, why not give Lennon a squad number? He didn't do too badly at Everton last season.

It has entirely escaped the writer of the Bolasie article that we have already signed Clinton N'jie. He actually lists our dealings this summer and omits to mention N'jie, who plays in a similar role to Bolasie (last paragraph). That might carry a hint of how reliable this story is.

Fuck me where did the last 8 months go...

(because it's apparently 1st April)

Might as well sign Lua Lua and put him on a stretching rack.

The guy can't even get into the Palace team with any regularity but we're supposed to believe he's worth anything more than £12m*

Him and Zaha are like an off off Broadway version of Cirque de Soliel, where every other week someone falls and dies on their arse.

*+£6m for being from an English club, + £4m because it's Spurs and £2m that's his actual value.
I make it under 5 months from April 1st

If Bolasie and Wanyama are genuine targets, I think we should save everybody's time and give Mitchell the boot now! I thought he was here to unearth talent as opposed to buying average prem players for top, top dollar?

Of course, I suspect both stories to be a load of old shite!

Wanyama is a good player and he would be more useful in midfield than Dier. Even though I think that Dier has been playing okay, he's just not agressive enough. He backs off and lets the opponent pass the ball instead of closing him down and putting in a tackle. I doubt we're interested in Bolasie though

The writer needs to jog on and go back to infant school. Shite article based on previous speculation in the other dirt bag dailies.

This has just got to be bollocks.

It is. Relax. We may not be the brightest tools in the box but we're not a bunch of idiots either. This rumour has been called bollocks by a few people who tweet, who may or may not know what they're talking about.

All I know is the Palace fans I work with all say he's not much more than a show pony, wildly inconsistent. Brilliant on his day, but he just doesn't have many days.

There's no way a club like ours would be duped.

Still learning the role. At centre back you don't go charging after the ball. All his education is contain, not destroy.

Did really well given how unnatural out is for him.

No matter who we sign I hope he has pace. My spurs team on FIFA is so slow.
