It's a tad too voyeuristic for my liking. What next, two-way mirrors in the dressing rooms? Just give us the damn game.

Lol not sure why this bothers people. If people want to spend stupid amounts of money to gawk over the players in the tunnel, I say by all means, have at it. They can toss themselves silly whilst doing so, and the club generates more money.

And this is for grown adults?

Awful concept. What sort of chopper would want to pay top dollar to watch footballers picking their noses in the tunnel.

I was under the assumption that the glass was one way.

I.e. The punters can see the players, but not the other way round?

At least I hope it is that way, I'm not sure that if I was psyching myself up for a big match, I would want loads of suited bellends eating cheese gawking at me.

Surely it distracts the players?

Initially, I've no doubt, but I'm sure they would get used to it. They're playing in front of millions of people every game, and while I understand this is more "intimate" and invasive, I'm sure they would acclimate.

Look if a bunch of Chinese tourists want to give the club a few thousand quid just so they can gawp at the players through a window for five minutes I'm all for it. Players won't care at all and it'll get some of the plastics we're sure to attract out of the way of the real fans.
