Our Under-18s hit Fulham for six on Saturday to make it three wins on the trot in the Premier Academy League.

Always in control, the lads scored three goals in each half, hit the woodwork twice and had another effort cleared off the line in a 6-1 victory at Spurs Lodge.

Harry Kane opened the scoring midway through the first half before a 20-yarder from Adam Smith and Kudus Oyenuga's smart finish made it 3-0 at the break.

Paul Jose Mpoku had a header cleared off the line 10 minutes into the second half before substitute Jesse Waller-Lassen headed home Ryan Fredericks' cross for 4-0 after 70 minutes.

Marcello Trotta pulled a goal back for Fulham but it was soon 5-1 as Waller-Lassen tucked away the rebound when Kane's free-kick was parried by the goalkeeper.

Fredericks completed the scoring three minutes from time when he beat his man and drove into the corner.

And you can bet your arse that none of these guys will ever play for the first team! The best they can hope for is a long loan spell at Leyton Orient.

    Oh don't be such a drama queen:razz:!

I know that previously we have failed to produce many first teamers from the academy, but the set up has improved dramatically and we now have youth players with fantastic potential. Give it a few years and lets us see if any of Bostock, Parrett, Mason, Townsend et al make it. Besides we have had quite a few academy players in the 1st team over the last year. Bostock, Parrett, Obika, Townsend, Rose, Livermore, Dervitte have all had game time!

You also need to remember that the Premier league teams have a responsibilty to help supply the lower leagues with players. Without the players deemed not quite good enough for the top flight, the lower leagues would be of a much poorer quality which would be detrimental for English football as a whole.

Yeah I know Sharky. I was just being more sarcastic than normal. I think it might have something to do with my hangover today!

I think these lads all have 15 minutes of Europa League action to look forward to at some point in their spurs careers
