They are already talking about Harry Kane and how they should be looking at him! I guess no one told them that he is a league 1 player at best LOL. Sir Alex is there watching the game live:mad:

I meant Darren Fletcher. I wouldn't expect to see Gio feature until the transfer window ends, if at all. I just think it's interesting that we have kept the focus on the kids, whereas Man U (and to a lesser extent, Newcastle) have fielded some fringe squad players. Maybe I'm not right, or maybe it's simply a fluke (Man U need to give Evans, Lindegaard, Fletcher and Macheda games.
Yea I meant Hudd but I think thats what the FA dont want to happen as the last league was terrible in the end because of that but we werent too keen on the reserve league before we quit but this should be better but I have doubts and they have just scored CB mistake

Good play by us, we look good in possession despite not looking very dangerous, been impressed by Mason considering he is pretty much been playing DM like a xabi alonso

Mason seems to have played that deeper role a couple of times in pre-season too.

Do we suspect our coaches are converting him from a second striker/Number 10 to a deep lying playmaker?

Perhaps he's also learned a lot from watching and working with Modric in training.

Half-time 1-0 to Utd.
Caulker dwelt far too long on the ball for their goal but otherwise he was back to his usual composed man.
We are actually playing better football than Utd but lack the finishing up front. Kane is the one most likely to score, Obika has been practically anonymous. Caroll is the one running the midfield, creative and showing a lot of composure on the ball. Grant Hall is having a quiet debut. Adam Smith is showing that he may have a future at Spurs, very solid. Townsend is his old trickery self but not much end product.
Hoping for a better second-half overall.
