Good news on the face of it but 'later this year' all sounding a bit vague.

I guess all this does is ensure there wont be a protracted legal dispute about the valuation of the land. From what I understand they were always going to have to be out by June in any case so this shouldn't have a significant impact on the stadium timetable.

So this might be the last season at WHL as we know it. Which would mean the location of where we play next season would have to be announced before the fixture list is compiled, which is when? July?

Oooh no actually its…..

"The Fixture List is usually announced in mid-June, approximately two months prior to the start of the new season"

The Bird who broke the news on SSN said that next season (15/16) will be our last at the current ground. Nothing officially announced yet though.

wouldn't home season ticket holders need to know about a change of ground?
Would hope th eclub would get the info out (if we are not playing at WHL next season) as soon as they can, but we know they wont,

The agreement itself probably says something slightly different.

For example it possibly says that Archway need to vacate by (say 30 September), however if the agreed way (between THFC and Archway eg to build 500 WHL for which the builder has submitted a plan to complete by 30 September) forward is delayed for any reason outside Archway's control, then THFC will agree with Archway a revised date not beyond 31 December.

So in this example it allows THFC wriggle room in case we need to give Archway a little more time without publicity - but gives us a sensible end date

I don't think so A&C.

We've got to amend planning permission, finalise finance, and appoint a Main Contractor and procure materials.

The Contractor won't have space in their order book to start a project of that scale for another 6 months minimum.

No point moving out till that's all ready, so would think bulldozers will go in May/June 2016.
