Its nice to be in the champions league I guess, but to think we are up there with the Barca, Real Madrids, Juve's and Bayern's of this world is delusional. We are up there with the Zagreb's and Viktoria Plzen's.

Let's not kid ourselves... No Dele or Erikson was a big, big loss. But yeah, we're more of a Red Hot Laughing Boys of Enfylfld kinda outfit, built for Europa underachieving.

Both of their goals were gift wrapped from lloris and then Sanchez.
We can't help but shoot ourselves this season so far

Regardless I'm enjoying watching us play Barcelona

Got into the ground to find us 1 down already. Then watched 20 minutes where we were all over them with Lamela’s relentless pressure, then a stupid pass and worldie.
Played ok to be 2 down. But we really miss our best players

Considering how poor we’ve been this season it’s a surprise we have as many league points as we do. Almost everyone is injured or knackered. Can’t think of a single player in form.

With the current form of both of them, I don't know man. They are just as frustrating at the moment TBH.

They have been, especially Eriksen but I still think they give us at least a much better platform to be able to perform in a match.

That's what I feel we're missing here, I think we have the attacking tools to hurt Barcelona, but a real severe lack of ability to supply them.

No. No-one could've stopped that Rakitic strike.

That was poetry. There are scientists at the Large Hadron Collider watching that replay.
Would have been stopped if Sanchez didn't give the ball to them in the 1st place, sanchez and lloris muppets

we are so pointless a team without Eriksen, only technical gifted footballer we have. just like watching a team of lumbering oafs. always an uphill struggle after lloris brain fart blew the game plan out the water if we even had one, we are far too narrow, our press is as shit as its been all season and barca must be sat at halftime thinking I cant believe how easy this is

As much as it pains me to say, time has run out for Winks for me. Yes, he showed great promise and that Bernabeu game was awesome, but he just hasn't progressed since (regressed even). Just a passenger. Wanyama was great in the 2016/17 season in a combo with Dembele, but hasn't been the same since his injury. Are his legs gone?

Massive intent needed in the transfer market(s) to rectify this very obvious Achilles' heel.
we're playing two unfit (at best not match fit) CM's aainst arguably one of the best CM's in world football, and you wonder why they have struggled and time's run out?

Jesus wept.

Winks and wanyama can't get in to the game. Their midfield is is to good for them.
Somehow this season I'm losing faith in Winks. It will take alot from him to step up to a level in the middle of the park to carry us forward.

How is the ref going to stop them waltzing through our midfield like it isn't even there? That's the problem not the ref.

shocking how much we have regressed since last season and i do think most of it comes down to not signing any new players (less competition, squad morale, squad depth e.g) We play one of the biggest games in cl in a long time and miss 3 of our best players with only one decent replacement in Sanchez.. frustrating.
