The frequency of Lloris fuck ups is becoming alarming. He did that 'running out into no mans land' against City last year...
What the fuck is wrong with him? What a gift.

Gazzaniga deserves a run in the side in my opinion.

Lets face it, that is a slapped together shambles of a team. You cant go up against Barcelona with 4 key players missing and 3 who've hardly played in weeks. It would look disjointed if we were playing bloody Huddersfield nevermind Barcelona. Even so the fk up from Lloris and Sanchez giving the ball away trying a 30yd through ball along the floor was fkin shit and stupid at any level.
Oh well Cardiff at the weekend.

And then play a wide open 4231.

It's quite unbelievably arrogant and ignorant both at the same time.

Well if Poch was content with not having signed anyone in the window (which I don't believe for a minute), he must be having second thoughts.
I just can't fathom as to how they thought no signings would be a good idea. It literally makes zero sense

I really have no idea what our attacking game plan is these days

Same as it has always been. High press and possession based football the problem is are midfield are struggling to do either

Oh back from work. How we doing?
I'm seeing Hugo is back to his usual self, fucking up in big matches giving away goals for free.

That's just not true.
This is some of Barcas best football this season.

We've got players in there that really aren't ready to be playing against a team of this level, especially for 90 mins.

We haven't played badly. Hugo has choked in a big game again and they've scored what is likely the goal of the tournament.

If we could have made a final pass or two we would have been on the score sheet.

As much as it pains me to say, time has run out for Winks for me. Yes, he showed great promise and that Bernabeu game was awesome, but he just hasn't progressed since (regressed even). Just a passenger. Wanyama was great in the 2016/17 season in a combo with Dembele, but hasn't been the same since his injury. Are his legs gone?

Massive intent needed in the transfer window(s) to rectify this very obvious Achilles' heel.

We are playing Barcelona ffs

Messi has played the first half with a pipe and his slippers on. Yes it would have lost us a player but id have told Vic to stick to him no matter what.

Lloris. That's the reason he never truly got that move. He's been on the borderline of the sublime and ridiculous for a while now.

2nd goal was terrible defending but another worldy. That's 2 in 2 games against us. Easy to get that feeling that its not going to be your year...

Ref is a joke - like Barca need help with dodgy decisions! I'd put Llorente on up top with Kane and just play long ball football. If we try and play them at tikka-takka football with Winks and Wanyama in CM we'll lose 5-0.

Yep, was thinking after about 25 minutes that trying to beat them with a passing game isn't gong to work, we're chasing shadows
Old fashioned British team, lump it forward and rough them up at the back

Got into the ground to find us 1 down already. Then watched 20 minutes where we were all over them with Lamela’s relentless pressure, then a stupid pass and worldie.
Played ok to be 2 down. But we really miss our best players
The most accurate and sensible post of the half

I think we played some pretty good football first half, and I wish we'd have been playing like that in the Prem.

Agreed. Set the tone for the performance from our captain.

Sometimes feels like Poch doesn’t show enough respect to the opponent. We’ve stuck four atttackers out there, full backs who get dragged out of position like they are playing as wing backs, and central midfielders who are neither here nor there.

Been like it for a while, too. We are so, so, open. Atrocious really, can’t defend as a unit for toffee
What else could he have done? Play Dier who has been complete shit this season?

Have to go with a back three, three in central midfield, one and another upfront.

Swamped in midfield, open at the back, and once they go though our initial press we have four men (Kane, Son, Lamela and Moura) who aren’t naturally tracker-backers.

Thing is, all this should have been obvious before the team was selected.

Well that was dreadful, lack of signings really hurting us, we are at BARE BARE bones right now, luckily we have an international break to try and nurse some back, and Sánchez doesn’t look comfortable with Toby beside him atall, Hugo’s brain fart don’t help, was a bit shit to boo at half time. We ain’t them shithouses for fucks sake!
