I need at least a month break of seeing Trippier and Davies in this team again. Jesus christ. Hard to put into words how bad they've been this season. Where's the starting at zero for them, Poch? Both still living off last season about 2 months in to the current season. Unbelievable. Drop them already.

Rose needs to be every day LB starter. Rotate for Carabao and eary FA cup. Thats it. Aurier and KWP can rotate at RB.

Agree with the sentiments of most. Have to add - we really need to mix it up when needing a goal late. Why bring on llorente and not use him?? Camera cut to Poch in 83rd min and he's saying 'play' 'play'. For me we need to be more direct.

We never seem to win or pick up points late anymore.

Unfortunately he isn't very good. Touch is poor, plays with his head down, not much going for him other than work rate

Just think he lacks composure, but that's the same of a lot of players heavily reliant on pace, he just tries to do everything too quickly and quality suffers because of it.

I'm sure one them was doing his head (Mario Basler) about so many English players in the Bundesliga. That was just before Sancho laid on Dortmund's first goal. He was the one who brought up the failure of English teams.

Well that clearly didn't go to plan, although getting done by Barca isn't exactly unexpected especially with the number of starters/good bench options missing. Too many mistakes tonight though, and for the 75 minutes I caught the Barca goals seemed to always come right when we were getting into it. That's got to be really mentally punishing for the players.

Add into that another worldie of a goal - which feels like something that seems to happen with a bizarre frequency against us - and it must've seemed like an impossible task.

With inter winning as well we're now also essentially reliant on other teams to get out of the group stage. Bad night all round for our chances of progressing, and I'm just hoping we can get ourselves off the floor for the game on Saturday.

It's a trend though - in big games we concede soft goals and they tend to be relatively early on too.

Lloris has always had a gaffe in him but in light of Gazzaniga's performances, can he legitimately complain if he finds himself on the bench against Cardiff?

It won't happen under Poch but I do question where Hugo's head's at

I don't think Poch will do anything. He cant have been impressed though after making the call to bring his captain back in, and then seeing him piss all over that decision within 90 seconds as his reward.......

Completely agree, the players are so clearly struggling after the World Cup.

I think the WC involvement is becoming a convenient excuse. It's over for more than two months! Seriously how long do they need to rest? Surely a few weeks of good long sleep helps. No? Some of them can still go partying and down some drinks...
