Danny Rose has been a big disappointment this season. Attitude, injury or whatever, he's fallen miles from "the best left back in the league", as touted by several pundits. We were formidable at full back a couple of seasons ago with Walker and Rose dominating those flanks. We've got decent full backs now, but not at that level. It's tough to reach those heights without aggressive pacey full backs that really provide some tactical flexibility.

Spot on about Rose, I fear his best Spurs days are behind him and wonder when he will return to full fitness. Missing out on the WC this summer could be a blessing in disguise for him as he might finally be fully fit for next season.
However, I don't see much of a future for him with us, especially if we get Sessegnon this summer. Personally, I would like to see Keanan Bennetts get some chances at LB/LWB in the preseason as he has the pace to get up and down the flanks and could potentially excel as a wing-back if we go to 3 CBs. Bennetts has played well for the U23s and can play a variety of positions and take free kicks as well.

Can’t see him (or aurier for that matter) starting a game again until 4th spot all sewn up, or Davies gets injured

I wont miss Aurier, he may have potential that I cant see, but so far he just seems to give away possession a lot or comit needless clumsy fouls in dangerous areas.

Chelski to finish 4th was 20-1 a few weeks ago. If we don’t beat Watford, we’re properly in the shit.

Win our last 4 games and we finish 3rd
Bearing in mind that we’ve had a big dip in form recently, the likelihood of us winning two out the remaining four seems a tall order at the moment.

I think we'll see the best of Aurier over the next season or two, Poch needs to work with him, he has the basics that Poch looks for, pace, power, aggression and stamina. He lacks positioning and general awareness, but Poch is capable of coaching that into players.
