You pick which game you want to watch, what your referring to only happens on Saturdays.

Are we on first

I think you can choose your game from 10pm. Highlights on MOTD2 at the same time.

So were Wigan any good? They're on a terrible run and have lost something like 5 out of 6. No wins since the Heskey injury.

good performance, I not sure if its just me but I have noticed us pressing a lot harder in packs of 3 or 4 players, applying pressure on their mid and defence which ended up with us winning the ball in their half and pouncing. We do seem to be a little fitter already. SOme good footy played too. Im happy! Still work to be done but it more optimistic after the last week or so.

That's one of the trademarks of Juande style, and you haven't seen nothing yet. Expect a much busier team in future matches once the players are fitter, and they will get fitter with this manager. I wouldn't be surprised if the big four turn into the big five in one season or two.

Don't know if this is true but it fits in with what I saw on Thursday, I posted that we were playing closer together passing to get into the box (one two's).
Looks as though the training ground work is paying off.
Wish I could see games live, I'm laid up on crutches at the moment after an operation, can't wait to start going to games again.

they were absolute dogshit. they weren't a threat at any moment and thought they were lucky not to concede more goals, as Jenas missed a sitter.

Juande must have been giving Lil Aaron some spinach in the week. He managed to kick the ball a full 25 yards earlier. Top stuff.

I can't choose on Sky as am on cable - just hope we're the default - if not good ole MOTD -

still managed to watch live on-line and it was a great performance and a great result

Let's seeif the lying press can put a negative spin on this one -

JR - 4 games - 3 wins - 1 draw - 1 goal conceded - a wonder strike-

yet after our good performance and great result in Tel Aviv you'd have thought we lost that one

Berbs - one goal and 6 assists in last 6 starts (from memory) - what a terrible player :)

Well what can I say, we're on our way to getting the Spurs back from the last few seasons and it may turn out to be an improved version.

We looked fitter and sharper today, we hunted the ball down much better, Berbs and Keano joined in and if the frontmen chase down it makes such a difference, no negative body language from anybody. Defensively we played much tighter and in a unit, interestingly we looked decent at set piece defending as well, when Wigan had a corner we went man for man and seemed to be marking much tighter than we have been. Also we played higher up the park and Kaboul has obviously been told to stop charging forward and limit it to attacking set pieces. Aaron Lennon looked fast and fit and was shooting as well!!!

JJ was playing further up the park and bursting beyond the two frontmen and scoring, Berbs was taking ridiculous balls out of the air and producing moments of genius as well as setting up goals and keano was class for the first goal making the wigan defender look silly and finally Zokora had a shot on target, I nearly fainted.

No, just like they're getting back to believing they're actually a pretty decent outfit.

I agree with SS, I think it's confidence more than anything else. It's not rocket science but if you believe you're not going to concede that's got to give you a boost.

I noted Poyet's aside in the post match interview regarding DZ and JJ. He said something to the effect that with DZ sitting JJ knows he can get forward.

We looked balanced today, from the defence to the forwards everyone looked like they knew what they were supposed to be doing and more importantly, they did it. Early days and against a poor side at home but this sort of result can only breed confidence and in a side of undoubted talent that means we can look forward to better results.
