We're bang in this, mental ,who would have dreamt this? We look so strong certainly against the lesser sides and all with the Wembley situation, the poch situation and no signings lol.
I wonder if city or the dippers could handle all this and still be up there. No doubt if liverpool had all these issues the whole world ,press/media would be empathsising with them ,not us sure were not even in a title race.....Except we are!

The media narrative started to swing in our favour after the Everton game...if Arsenal can beat Liverpool next week and we beat Wolves then the pro Spurs voices will become louder.

The media mostly support the team that is top.

What I will say is that we are the only club in the top 6 where pundits will say categorically we can not win the league and that our manager should leave us to go to a club that finishes below us every year.

Hold on....the lads in the Youth thread reckon the notion of Poch giving youngsters a chance is a myth.
Im very confused.

Mind boggles uh..

The youth squad must be buzzing knowing they will get a chance if they show they can do their bits under pressure. I love that poch does this and puts them in big games or at crucial points in games.

Continue to be amazed at how resilient the squad is in the face of injuries, a grueling summer, personal challenges, etc. Anyone who has the nerve to call this group "legends" should have their cable box/TV license taken away from them.

Agree that the media have started to give us some credit but they still by far fawn over the other two , Liverpool in particular and it sickens me , let's see if they start to acknowledge what spurs are achieving now we're up to second...

Was Foyth pushed into midfield after Davies came on? Watch this space if so. Foyth may become our next DM...
Think you might've missed the boat there, some lunatic's been pushing this one for yonks.

I’d rather we kept under the radar to be honest. Just keep winning.

That's why I said league form... No doubt we're in cracking form and playing some beautiful football at times, but it's hard to compete against the £300m they've spent in the last 2 years.

They've also got a good manager and the best player in the league in their squad.
We’ve been on average, the best team over the past 3.5 years against that kind of spending power. We have the best manager in the league, with one of the best strikers in the world.

Great win today, though a little alarmed that they had a few chances but it was our 3rd game in a week.

Hopefully Arse drop points today against Brighton (1-1 at moment) and can then get something against Pool so a win-win situation. Then need City to beat/draw against Pool.

It seems a little reminiscent of the Leicester season where they kept winning and we were relying on others taking points from them as we were a little too far back. I do hope that this time we manage to reel the top team in.

Its actually mental that we could replicate the first half of the season, obtain 90 points, and still miss out on the title!

It should not and dont let it bother you. Let them fawn over the rest while we quietly go about our business. If we were then successful then they are the ones who are going to look stupid. Its no big thing, really

Think the last few games have shown what we are made of with battering Bournemouth today, putting 6 past Everton whilst going a goal behind, beating arsenal at the Emirates to reach another semi-final and previous to that ground out a late winner against a shot shy Burnley.
Even if we don't win the league we can't do much more than we have done over the last couple of year's, although how fantastic would it be if we edged both Liverpool and city out and claimed the title.
