Live Media Coverage

\When:
Saturday 10th February 2018 at 1230pm

Match: Premier League - Round 27

Where: Wembley Stadium

Referee: Anthony Taylor

Team Form: Spurs DDWDW Arsenal LWWLW (All competitions)

We have lost just one of our last seven games against Arsenal (W2 D4 L1) although that defeat came earlier this season losing 2-0 at the Emirates.

Arsenal are aiming to win both home and away against us in the EPL for the fourth time in the same season. This is the first meeting between us at Wembley since April 1993, when they beat us 1 - 0 in an FA Cup semi final with a Tony Adams goal

We have won 28 of a possible 39 points in home games at Wembley this season, dropping 11 points. In the whole of last season we 53 out of 57 points.

Harry has scored 6 goals in 6 EPL games against Arsenal, only failing to score in one of those games - the reverse fixture this season. He has scored 4 times in 3 EPL HOME games against them

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 4 goals in 4 previous appearances against us in all competitions - 1 in the Champions league (2 games) and 3 ine the Europa League (2 games)

I am not usually nervous about games but for some reason I am very nervous about this. I comfort myself in that I thought we would have lost against both Manu and Liverpool but those two performances have given me hope. We have to apply the same focus, grit and determination to get a result, as the Arse irrespective of form, do raise their games quite significantly when they play us. I am hoping for a win but would settle for a draw. I shudder to think of the mood of Spurs Community and crap utterance from the pundits if we were to lose.

1991: Tottenham played Arsenal at Wembley. I got very drunk and spent most of the night shouting "Is Gascoigne going to have a crack. He is, you know. Oh, I say." at random strangers, who, mostly, smiled at me benignly whilst edging away.

1993: Tottenham played Arsenal at Wembley. I got very drunk and spent most of the night shouting "Tony Adams. What a fucking ****, eh." at random strangers who, mostly, looked at me blankly (because they spoke Portuguese as I was in Portugal) whilst edging away.

2018: Tottenham play Arsenal at Wembley. Only time will tell, but, at a guess, it's going to involve a fair degree of alcohol and people edging away. Here's hoping it's more 91 than 93 for everyone's sake.

It'd be a real shame if we let them out-battle us like at their place. In fact, we should start off pretty direct and make this a battle in the first half hour. A few solid tackles and dominance in the 50-50s should put some of their lot into their shells and we'd be on a solid footing to put them away.

Really hoping we're able to get the right atmosphere going tomorrow. For all their fans talk of spurs bottling it  they've only got 13 points away this season.

Get in their faces and they won't be able to cope with us

I usually have the collywobbles before a NLD, but even more so for this one. Massive game.

I'll be there singing myself hoarse. Noise dissipates quickly in that cavernous stadium, but we really need to make it as intimidating as possible for the Goons. If you're going, don't let up. Make as much noise as you can.

COYS.

6:10 plane to London, 2 hours flight, straight to the Wembley from the airport. Spend all my savings on tommorows day, so I'm kind of hoping we can get good result :D

See you tommorow folks. COYS!

We play our best, we win as we are better than them. Unfortunately football is never that clear cut.

Going for 2 or 3-1.

This will be my second ever NLD. The first one was a 1-0 loss when timmy was in charge. I hope im not a jinx.

I'm bricking it already. I'm so desperate for a win.

Hoping the rain holds off until after the game, bad weather is such a leveler always favouring the lesser team.

Watching this on the telly with my eight year old who's getting more and more intrigued by Tottenham. He loves Victor, so I'm hoping the mighty Kenyan tears it up at some point tomorrow
