Credit to Foyth who had a rocky start but he was excellent and composed from that point on

I thought it was actually only 5 minutes. Lost composure after he turned back into trouble and it affected him for a moment or so but after that he was superb. Going to be a huge player for sure.

Just on way back from the game. A game of two halves completely.

Didn't play well in the first half, but much better in the second half. I was behind the goal for the goals and the atmosphere there was fantastic, everyone went fucking nuts.

Vertonghen easily MOM with second place going to Sissoko. How has moussa improved this much??

Didn't think Winks was that great. He did little wrong and kept the ball moving but it was Sissokko that dominated that midfield second half. Not a sentence I thought I'd be saying in August but he's not far off my player of the season.

Everyone really... foyth was targeted early and came through it well eventually...Solid from Lloris, son electric again, Moura nearly broke my living room with that volley... winky was progressive and seems to love a bit of CL action. Sissy was bossing people everywhere again! Noting the moment where he dashed their winger, won the gk and casually passed it to Lloris...

I bet Nando didn't think he'd be scoring a Champions League goal again. So pleased for him. He really looks like he's starting to find his feet again. It's clearly still in him!

He is a real threat from crosses no doubt. Still has a part to play even when kane is back, very good sub to bring on when you need a goal and a change of tactics

We were a joy to watch that 2nd hàlf, absolutely flawless composed performance.

Vertonghen... After the BT/Sancho love in 1st half, it took our super Jan the whole of one half of football to work him out and turn him into a ghost whilst simultaneously turning Hakimi ( he's from Real Madrid apparently) into Wiley Coyote. Incredible display at LWB.

Thought Winks was fantastic personally. Other than a wayward pass in the first minute or so and pivoting into the opposition at a stage in the second half I thought he brought great calmness in possession when on the ball. Also he was eagerly looking to receive the ball from the centre backs and start forward movements which is sometimes something we don't see enough in the team.
