It's a full Premier League debut for 18-year-old central midfielder Oliver Skipp this afternoon! After featuring in the Carabao Cup against West Ham earlier this season, he made his top-flight debut off the bench against Southampton 10 days ago.
Defender and fellow Academy star TJ Eyoma, also 18 but in the age group above, is on the bench in a Premier League game for the first time.
Jan Vertonghen misses out with a thigh injury today while Eric Dier has a virus.

Match: _____ English Premier League (EPL) - Match day 17

When: _____ Saturday 15th December

Where: _____ Wembley Stadium

Kick Off: ______ 3:00pm

Referee: ______ Graham Scott

Team Form ____ Spurs WLWWD _____ Burnley DLLLLW (all competitions)

We have lost just one of our eight against Burnley in the EPL (W6 D2), with that one defeat in May 2010, 2-4 defeat under Harry Redknapp. We are unbeaten in our six EPL against Burnley under Poch (W4 D2), scoring 10 goals and conceding 3 in return.

Burnley are looking for their first away win against us in any competition since January 1983 (4-1 in the League Cup quarter-final. Burnley have kept a clean sheet in just 18% of their top-flight games against us (14/76). They have picked up just 6 points from their last 30 available away from home in the EPL (W1 D3 L6)

Just 33% of our EPL points this season have been won in home games (12/36) - the lowest ratio in the division. We have lost 2 of our last 5 EPL home games, as many defeats as we had in our previous 39 home in the competition (W31 D6 L2).

None of our 16 EPL games this season have ended in a draw - only Bolton Wanderers in 2011-12 (18) and Manu Utd in 2012-13 (17) have a longer run without a draw from the start of a premier league campaign.

Kane has scored 4 goals in 5 EPL appearances against Burnley, including a hat-trick in the most recent of those (3-0 in December 2017). After a run of 15 EPL games without a goal from 18 shots, Son has scored 3 goals from 16 shots in his last 4 EPL appearances for us.

Nothing against Burnley, but I would love to see a real hammering today... 5-0 at least. Build on the form and morale with these bread and butter games.

If we take it easy today they could scrape a draw. I want a ruthless performance 4-0. 2 in the first 2 in the second. YIDS

No such thing
as a must win game
but this is one.

Confidence, momentum, maintaining challenge
goal difference, all in play.
Lose or even draw this one
and 'Spursy' rises from the vaults
where it has been firmly locked
recently.
Sorry Burnley
admire your spirit and manager
but you're necessarily
sacrificial lambs today.

Hoping we get to see the Harry Kane of December 2017 against Burnley today, with all the old zip and energy back. That goal he scored to seal his hattrick in the reverse fixture this time last year where he made a great tackle to win the ball in their half and then got the return ball from Dele before planting it with his left into the bottom corner was one of my favourites in 2017/18. It was Harry at his constant-pressing, lethally-finishing best, and I want to see more of it in his game this season.

Buzzing for this one* - a 3 o clock kick off and an empty house - Bliss.

Expecting a 3-0 win hoping for a couple more though.

HK 2 goals. DA 1.

Thanks @Bulletspur

*Also buzzing because I am going to the local pub tonight, haven't set foot inside a pub since 19/12/16
So after almost two years I will probably be be 'Jack on my back' after couple of hours. MOTD set to record.

I'm hoping we don't see Harry Kane at all.

Need a nice early goal or 2. I hate to see us go a goal up then sit back and drop the intensity we need to be ferocious and blow these teams away.
I hope its not one of those frustrating game where we are banging our heads against a brick wall all game.

Fortunatly burnleys brick wall is infact a marshmallow wall in the shape of joe hart......so lets batter it!

Just have to win this one. The 3 points are critical. The Blue Manc scum are relentless and I expect the bin dippers as well. We need to keep on their coattails. COYS!

I know that people want Kane to not play today so he can play against Arsenal but there’s no way Kane will not start 2 PL games in a row

They're narrow as b*ggery down their left so I'm hoping we play Sonny or Lamela out there to really give them problems.

An occasional indoor tipple/binge. I actually had 3 tins of Carlsberg after the Barca game/Inter result.
Sank them in about in about 8 minutes and was pissing like a racehorse all night.

Confident about the game today, team sheet appearing in here soon ...
