The thing that really ticks me off, is that all those prats who declared we were fucked prior to the game won't say fuck all know, and furthermore, would never have the bollox for picking sides against the grain of public opinion.

They were wrong, simple as.
Hear hear!!

I know I have mentioned it a lot of late, but it's no surprise to me that we had a very good away performance as soon as we brought the press back. Burnley have only conceded 6 goals at home so far this season including the 3 today, which tells you just how good a result that was.
Also factoring the re -emergence of Lamela as well, now being involved with the 1st team practice and some game time so far, which could have been part of the reason the press is back!

A good win in the end and the scoreline certainly didn't flatter us. I must admit the longer it stayed at 1-0 with us missing a string of really easy chances to put the game to bed I had an uneasy feeling we would eventually rue them and they would get a breakaway equaliser with one chance and with 10 mins to go. Thankfully that scenario was avoided when Kane netted the second and then third. Two points each gained on Arsenal and Liverpool and Chelsea and 3 points from Burnley who are up there so all in all a very profitable weekend for us.
Now gained 2 points on Manu as well!
