I cannot recall a time in all my Spurs-supporting days when we had an injury-free squad for two consecutive games.

Hell, I cannot recall a time when we had an injury-free squad for one game.

How much of this is improved training techniques, improved training facilities, fewer injury-prone players or random fortune I have no idea. But it's most unusual.

Does anyone know if Southampton had a better-than-average injury record last season?

Interesting question. They are bemoaning a terrible run of injuries currently and I certainly don't recall any major issues last season. Anyone know a Saints' supporter?

It is a remarkable turnaround for us and it’s not as though we haven’t had our fair share of knocks and players hobbling off. It is the recovery from these that seems remarkable in comparison.

I seem to recall some discussion of that this summer around the Pochettino hiring, but I think that most attributed that to their medical staff - maybe the training techniques do help also

I used to call us Tottenhamstrung under Redknapp. Not really funny, I know, but those injuries could have been avoided by strenghtening certain muscles.
