Had a little butchers at The Shed End match thread just now. It's hilarious how victimised they feel for being poor Chelsea.
It's salty and sweet all at the same time and they are suffering because of it. Very enjoyable :ROFLMAO:

I had a quick look last night, and was instantly disgusted by the amount of fans that thought the solution was simply to buy more and better players. Sums up their mindset really, despite the fact that all the idiotic Chelsea fans I know constantly try and deny that their success has been bought.

When we're ready to win the title we'll be winning games like that 6-0, with the chances we had.

Should have been over by halftime and gone in 3 up.

Fuck the commentators for making excuses throughout the game as to why chelscum were getting pummelled by us.

Sick of their shite. Fuck off.

We battered them and was at it from the off and never let them get going properly; that's why we won.

****s.

Not sure if it's been said in here or not but Erik Lamela is the greatest ever shit house to bring on when you want to close a game out. He kicks people and slows the game down. Rolling his foot over the ball and gliding past Hazard or just constantly doing it must really irritate the opposition and it's fucking beautiful.

I haven’t read the match thread yet as was at the game then on the mega death lash but has Dier’s game been highlighted?

That was one of his best performances for a long time. He was asked to be more defensive and play to allow the attackers to do their thing rather than joining in himself. It’s how he should be played and he did the role fabulously.

Tactically, Dier and Sissoko were the key to the performance, along with posting Dele on Jorginho so he couldn't get the ball away.

Watching Chelsea this year and last, what's notable is that the large majority of their attacks come down the middle, using Hazard's and Willian's ball control and passing to pick their way through the opposition. They were entirely unable to do that yesterday, because of the disciplined way we played without the ball.

Every time they'd try to play through us - and I'm talking about 15-20 times over the course of the match - they'd get the ball robbed, often by Sissoko, but everyone took their turn to get a foot in or use their body strength to advantage. This had two results. One was that they spent the whole first half pressed back into their half, because they'd soon lose the ball nearly every time they ventured forth. The other was that they had to attack from wide, which is not their strength, especially not with Alvaro Morata as the focus. If Morata wasn't being caught offside, he was being managed by our central defenders - he's not exactly the hardest-working centre forward in the league. And because Davies and especially Aurier were aware and full of energy, the attacks from wide areas were a bit desperate. Chelsea like cutbacks. They didn't get many chances for those, so they had to fling the ball into the box in hope.

The only time Chelsea were able to turn their possession into any sort of pressure was when we took a breather from the pressing game in the second half. Then Son scored the third and our tactics could change toward controlling the match and counter-attacking.

I also find it utterly bizarre the way they're using Kante. Their back line was criminaly exposed and their set up wasn't exactly respectful in that sense.

They got what they deserved, and it obviously could, and should of been five or six.

Think today's performance was Bourne from the team's hate of Chelsea, our guys grew an extra few inches and the tackles we're a touch harder all because of the recent history we have with them.We were bang at it from minute one and didn't let up , imho Moura not playing helped us, I think he upsets our rhythm and style of play (love him as a player btw, not a witch hunt) we were outstanding tonight , the spurs we've been use to these last few wonderful seasons .COYS!

Thing is, Moura's still adapting and improving as well. Look how long it took Sissoko and Lamela to settle in. We will just keep on getting better (so long as we keep Erikssen of course).

bt sports how bad were Chelsea today show is over.
Great performance from us a a worldly goal from son but it’s all about how bad Chelsea were ?

In fairness we've seen spurs did this before so it's not news to a lot of people. We've never seen Sarri's Chelsea been shit like this. They were shit today defensively and clueless attacking. It's a better headline at the moment for the neutral. I hear ye though.

Hard to find something that hasn't been said. But I'm gonna shout Hugo out.

Lighting off his line and a fantastic save from Morata when he wasn't to know it was offside.

Off the back of a man of the match against the Dutch and a clean sheet against Mexico. Let's hope he kicks on.
Davies also played well. It's as if a sprinkling of confidence dust has settled on the whole team.
