Dier
Eriksen Dele
Moura Kane Lamela

We need to start playing like this asap. Its the best formation to shift us from overly defensive minded to attack minded. It means we can utilise Eriksen and Dele as numbers in the middle which is what they do further up the pitch (not tackling but blocking pass options) and release our front three to all out attack, with Eriksen and Dele joining the attack / starting the attack. Man City have certainly proven it can work and we have the personnel to do similar imo. Son on the left when available.

Agree- Dele is still able to drift into the box late and score goals with this formation and set up

Exactly, maybe even more so. It's his greatest asset, but he doesn't have the pace or inclination to run wide left - but does so as his LWF role demands it. Son on the other hand already goes wide, but needs the freedom to be more central. Him and Moura on the edge of the box will be excellent due to Son's shooting and Moura's one twos. More importantly, our counter attack will be even better, due to their pace. I've also noticed Eriksen is dropping deeper into midfield anyway and orchestrating our attack from there.

Here's hoping for a more convincing win compared to last week.

A good thrashing of Fulham would hopefully give the media a few days off talking about the stadium fiasco.

Time to put window and stadium woes behind us and get our campaign truly underway with a dominant display today.

Definitely a good test for us. Fulham have a ton of energy in attack and overall look like a very solid side. Hopefully we can clean up some of the mistakes from the Newcastle match and move forward with some confidence on where we stand.

First game for my 7 year old daughter today. Hope we can see a few Harry Kane goals and a good win to solidify her support.

Hoping Dembele starts and shows us he’s still got it. Would like to see Lamela and Winks on the bench as well and get some game time later on.

I hope that you are right, we need a good solid result. Also for Harry to get back scoring
a few again, before September!
