Wish I was watching this!! I’d imagine one of the CBs will push into CDM when possible allowing Eriksen to join the attack. Really hope Trips drops some Kanebombs today

We’re reportedly looking to sell Rose, feels like Poch disrespects KWP by putting Rose on the bench instead of him

Did he not say last week everyone has been given a clean slate? Rose is a far better choice than KWP, to cover LB at least.

As we’re playing 3 at the back I would rather have Dembele for Dier, but that’s a very strong team and I’m glad Trippier is back.

Hopefully an August goal or two for Harry today!

Love the look of that team. Toby in, Trippier back, Lucas with another start, Rose, Lamela, Dembele and Winks on the bench. Solid.

- Toby in. Interesting, Poch didnt need to do that. Rehabilitated?

- Davies over Rose 2 games running. Maybe some truth in these PSG rumours. Would be livid if Poch is planning on rotating Davies with KWP for this season.

- Dier the only CM, unless Eriksen slots in. I recon this'll be more of a midfield diamond, with Moura at the top. Not sure how well that'll go given how ineffecive he was in the middle last week.

- Overall pretty odd looking lineup, but a great 11 to have on the pitch. Interested to see how this goes.

Rose is part of the squad for now, and Walker-Peters is out of position when on the left. No disrespect, just need to go out on loan as long as we keep two senior right backs in the squad.

Actually did a fist pump when I saw the team. Three at the back, Eriksen hopefully a bit deeper, Lucas and Dele playing off Kane. That got me excited!

Good to see both Winks and Lamela on the bench too.

Can't complain about that starting line up
No Sissoko, Aurier and Dembele is a winner for me

Slightly off-topic, but I know the club are looking for money - but I am not a fan of William Hill sponsoring the team sheet tweet. Feels a bit cheap.

Very happy with Toby being in the team. Something that should have happened a whole shitload more than it did for the last 12 months, but glad to see us being pragmatic today and actually using a world class player when we have him available.

Left footed Rose to provide cover on that side. It would be nice to see KWP on the bench instead of Aurier.

With Alderweireld starting, is it a sign that he's not leaving this window? Glad to see both Winks and Lamela on the bench. COYS
