But he has got a head start first goal in August
Looking at it all wrong, Harry's been giving everyone else a head start for years just to make it fair. The league eventually caught up last year, well at least that fuzzy bin dipper did so it's only right he's started scoring early.

Good result which was harder work than it should have been. As a mate I got a ticket for with his kid, not a Spurs fan, said we should have been 4-0 up before we scored. Started very well playing on the front foot but just looking short of sharpness and or too hurried in playing final balls/shooting.

After a bit we seemed to stop doing all the good stuff which allowed Fulham into the game. However Lucas got a super goal which was well deserved for all the effort allied to some real ability he put into the game. Trippier had a lot of the ball but could not find the quality until that great free-kick which I think will really encourage him. Certainly Dembele coming on changed the game back in our favour after a period that was more like the Keystone Cops with a whole series of inept plays. Then Lamela came on and allowed us to exploit space as Fulham had to chase the game more.

Anyway some good performances though clearly we lack sharpness all looks good going forward. The team we put on the field and the strong bench, with still Wanyama missing, made it clear why we struggled to get players in to improve the squad. So happy to see Lamela back, even more so to see Winks back.

Onwards and upwards

Playing at Wembley gives a lot of fans an opportunity to watch Spurs in a competitive league game which wouldn't be possible at WHL or NWHL.

It was fantastic to see so many families and young fans today.

I was wondering about this especially as I don'y go to matches much at all, but want to start doing so at NWHL. So will it generally be hard to get tickets?

He's always been a meh player for me when played at CM.

I thought he was a revelation when first used as a DM but the last couple of seasons he has been poor defensively. Just seems to stroll around.

Yes, most tickets at the new stadium will go to Season ticket holders and some will be reserved for local residents in Haringey. The few left over will be snapped up by members and I don't think there's much chance of GA tickets being available for league games.

Damn that's a real shame! Hopefully especially for the 'lesser' games it won't feel nigh on impossible.

Dreadful decision making by Trippier this half. Got in fantastic positions and always chooses the wrong option. I always laugh when people call him world class
You're one of them I imagine Paolo10 :)

All of my non-Spurs team mates thought he was the best full back at the world cup. LMFAO
Yet another poor, blocked cross

Talk about winning the argument for me

That Trippier is world class, I tell ye

Off your meds, son?

Just watched Poch's post-match interview with the BBC on MOTD. Is it me, or is he now consistently channelling Eric Cartman whenever he is asked how he feels about any given topic?

Your crush on Trippier is a bit strange sunshine. He was poor today as were a few players. No worries there's always next week.

Well mate,

If you watched the game, and still convinced Trippier was poor, I don't like to rely on statistical evidence to prove a point but in addition to my eye test, it's clear he had a great performance, here at

I was watching the match with my eyes closed, so I'll give you that. Thank god for the stats. Is there a stat that states his crosses caused very few problems to the Fulham defence? I thought he was poor, you and the stats state he is the messiah. All good mate.

I just think he does everything OK and nothing really well. Would much rather a fit Wanyama over Dier as a starter.

Ha ha! I thought you were talking about Ericksen! Now I realise you meant Dier, in which case I agree.

In all honesty I reckon if you're not a member it will be for at least the first few seasons at NWHL. If you can spare £50 a season it's worth the money for a membership if it gives you a better chance of getting tickets.

Wow that's crazy. I'll definitely look into a membership then. Is that to have the chance of just the single ticket?
