I never doubted that but it hardly means any criticism from his first half is nullified

The credit for the goals has to go down to KWP
Let's be fair; you'd have credited KWP for scoring twice if their roles were reversed and Lamela was the one playing "easy 10 yard passes"

Yep it's pretty obvious what people's stance is when it comes to certain players they don't like when they do something good it's pretty funny to see them give begrudging praise or still try and find angles to hate on them :D

What a rollercoaster mind fuck of a game. Glad this season is done now.
Looking forward to the media destabilizing us for the next few months then it all starts again.
Roll on the new stadium :)

I mean obviously humour is subjective but if you actually find it funny for someone to say the youth player, in his 2nd prem start, deserves more credit for the balls they put it then the person who tapped them in, then we have very different views of comedy.

"Let's be fair"; obviously well done to Erik for scoring, I like the guy, he's had a horrible last few years and it would've been nice for him to have got the hattrick.

But that doesn't mean he didn't have a horrific first half and a overall poor second and it doesn't mean that I can't think that KWP deserves more praise.

And it also doesn't mean overall I suddenly have to think he's a good player, I just don't.

Even though the argument has nothing to do with KWP and everything to do with Lamela.

Keep moving those goalposts though and in the meantime I'll continue laughing. (y)

5-4 in the league. I've been going since 1969 and i don't remember us winning 5-4 in the league before.

I saw us lose 4-5 to Arsenal and beat Reading 6-4 but not an actual 5-4. Anyone remember the last time we did that?

Doesn’t surprise me, quite a few Gooners over here. I think Huddersfield have a decent chance of beating them. Be on a high from last week and last home game of the season no pressure! Bye bye Arsen!
At least we ended up getting Game of the Day on sky! Although I kind of ended wishing I hadn’t watched it. Boy did we scrape by the last 3 home games of the season. We really could have been looking at 3 draws easily and maybe even a loss in there also. So 9 points to just 2 points would have really changed the picture and mood?
But we didn’t and it didn’t so Yea! COYS?
