Thats a real hatchet job. There is no context to that. They are three different answers to three different questions, with much longer responses behind them. Makes it seem like its one long quote. Here is the actual press conference.

Brought it up on motd.
And then you read your post and you think... what a bunch of fkin wankers.
Not happy we've pissed all over their money bag top 4 again. Not happy at all.
And how dare we finish above Liverpool. Disgraceful behaviour :finger::finger:

I just like the fair ground it gives. I'm not advocating it often, and I know it'll never happen but hypothetically if it did, you don't know what's going on elsewhere and in my opinion that contributes to a better atmosphere because it's all about willing your team over the line. You can't leave anything to chance, or settle for a point because your rival has already played before you. Win your game and whatever happens, happens.

@Fidget

It's not so funny when I have to explain.. Half of May,all of June and July is 78 days and then there is August - Harry likes an extended rest in August - another 31 day - over 15 weeks.

Why bother then? It’s either a mistaken rating or an idiot why worry about it?

What a finish to a brilliant, if difficult, season.

We've essentially played all our games away from home, and not only that, but at a stadium where every team plays like its a cup final.

If ANY other team finished 3rd in our position, there would be fireworks and a fucking parade.

Fuck Salah. Pray to the gods that he moves on.

We're all fully fledged Real Madrid fans now, right?! I certainly am.

Typical end of season game but great result for us. How many times now have Liverpool finished above us in the last say 15 years ?

Great credit to everyone at the club for finishing third despite 38 away games (y)

Totally predetermined criticism of Sissoko, not based on his contribution today. Was way less culpable than Wanyama defensively and actually provided some much needed thrust and dynamism going forward. Opened up Leicester, by creating space with his direct approach, more than Lucas Moura did with his annoying slow it down, turn inside and run sideways aporoach

Really no. Lucas was the difference yesterday, Sissoko's positioning and passing (or lack thereof) was a liability. No surprise whatsoever that our midfield improved drastically and stopped Leicester from playing when he went off. Up until then there was space, always a man free, and they had freedom to push right up on us. Afterwards all that stopped, and Leicester couldn't get near us.

Seven times. But that's a bit deceptive. The first six were consecutive, from 2003/04 to 2008/09. Then there was 2013/14, when they finished second and really should have finished first. They have finished ahead of us once in the past nine seasons.

I don't think either Sissoko or Moura was especially brilliant yesterday. But we stopped Leicester from playing through us when Sanchez came on. Not much to do with Sissoko or Moura.

Fuck the racist pillock, i don't want him anywhere near my club. I'd sooner fail to win anything without that twat then win anything with him.
Interesting how yesterday when Lamela went through the middle he looked like scoring every time. It’s been said before but he is a threat through the middle. He or Sonnor Dele can all play there so why bother to buy someone unless it is a truly exceptional player at the end of his career or a supremely talented youngster? Vardy and Mahrez are very talented players but we have seen that they only bother when they feel like it ... such as when they play us

Moura was key in all three of Lamela's goals, and he ran at them all second half. He was a bright spark.

Sissoko's positioning was dreadful. The number of times when we lost possession, and he'd have drifted away from the central areas he should have been patrolling, leaving us with a gaping hole in the middle and a free Leicester player, was contributory to at least 2 of their goals. Eriksen was having to drop back often, to either get the ball or cover.

Naturally going 3 at the back helped plug the gaps, and free'd Wanyama to focus on protecting them. But we no longer surrendered possession as frequently, and there was never a man over.

Watched it in a bar in Benidorm old town. 5 tellys with 4 different games on. Loads of scousers in there. Was quite beautiful. They took it in good humour. I think. My missus doesn't. Got told off.
