Disappointed by some of ourbetter players. Expected poor performances from the usual one or two.

Well at least we should have 4th place wrapped up. It's where we belong.

Def need Sanchez on to counter Leicester’s speed on the counter, especially Vardy.

Well I must be the lucky one.

Have a choice of two streams. One that plays in 5 second bursts then stops for ten seconds, or another that is playing like a flicker book in treacle. (Just got to 34 minutes)

Seems that's not as frustrating as the match though ;)

Same.

Well if Poch was very happy yesterday he must surely be pretty pissed off right now

Frustrating first half. Wanyama and Lamela has been quite poor. Rose and Lucas has been frustrating to watch. Sissoko isn't playing bad for his standards, shame his standard overall is quite subpar atleast in the middle. So many attacks just stops up with him as he needs 2-3 extra touches to actually see the pass he needs going forward and just end up passing it back. This game isn't by any means lost though, we're still creating more this game than we did against Newcastle. We've got it all in our hands. Wanting a big performance from the lads for the 2nd half and 3rd is ours. COYS

The bell ends on my commentary have spent 5 mins discussing how we would need to qualify for the group stages of the CL with 4th. Why do these people know f all?

Not sure what happened after Juve but the team has collapsed. The football we play these days reminds me of the old Tottenham
Can't disagree with this to be fair. Good post.

If I'm honest the performance isn't greatly surprising with things considered. A central midfield of Wanyama and Sissoko, 2 fullbacks who are 2nd and 3rd choice (though I don't mean to criticise KWP, have seen him do good things as well as not so), a CB pairing that is certainly not a first choice combination, an underperforming Lamela, a Kane who despite scoring is still struggling to incfluence the pattern of a game and Lucas who just simply hasn't featured much for us.

I feel like the energy in our attacks have actually been better than in recent games and has been less lethargic but we have sparks of promise in say, Lucas and Eriksen that are surrounded by a lack of quality in Wanyama, Sissoko and Lamela for instance.

Wanyama must be carrying an injury still surely. He looks a shadow of last season not just in terms of form but movement and mobility too.
He desperately needs to get fit over summer break and back to how good he was last season, cos this Wanyama is a waste of space for next season.

All over piss poor yet again. Seems a very, very long time ago that we played decent in a game. We’ve completely forgotten how to perform. Awful.
Please Pochettino change it at half time.
Off:- Lamela and Sissoko - has to be their last games in a Tottenham shirt.
On:- Dele and Son

There’s no great mystery about this. There’s an enormous Vertonghen shaped hole in the defence. They’ve prepared for the game and given Jan and Toby roles and responsibilities and then our best defender has dropped out just before kick off. Leicester are running through the resulting gaps. Wanyama hasn’t exactly been reliable in possession either.

For the first half hour, we played some nice stuff and had quite a few shots. Then there was a 10 minute period when just didn’t get the run of the ball, since when we’ve again made some chances that have been defended very well.

I don’t think our attacking and midfield play have had any of the turgidity of recent matches, but the defence is all over the place. No Jan and a relatively inexperienced right back.

The midfield again is just so predictable and slow in moving the ball. I'd move Eriksen back in there for the second half and replace Sissokko with Dele, but only because there is no alternative at CM. How can anyone not see that this is by far our biggest area for concern as far as the Summer window is concerned.

Only 45 more minutes and we can all put this torture to bed for 3 months.

Hopefully Sissoko gets a good reception after the game before his exit.
