Not a bad season looking at our budget spend compared to the Man teams and Liverpool. Yes some disappointments at no trophy win but overall still finished 3rd and go again in Europe. I hope the club, fans and team live up to expectations in the new stadium. I just feel that we need a midfield General like Gazza to takes us further forward. Any suggestions. Wishing you all a great holiday, England a good World Cup with 4 or 5 Spurs players and looking forward to next season. Lucas and KWP looking good.

Not so much

How is that embarrassing? The top 4 was the only question left to be answered today, could have been Chelsea or could have been Liverpool in the Champions League. We got the 'top 4' attention last week, when it was relevant. Top 3 isn't a thing like top 4 so why would we get any headline?

If Liverpool got 3rd it would have been all over SSN that Liverpool pipped Tottenham to 3rd.

No it wouldn't, it would have been 'Liverpool secure top four, leapfrogging Tottenham into 3rd who ballsed up on the last day again'. Which would be both accurate and not biased. We'll get attention for having a stupid high scoring game, Liverpool will get attention because their game had actual implications.

Spurs tinted glasses off, I don't understand why city are getting so much credit for something anyone can do with an obscene budget like theirs. The way Sky are going on about it... bloody hell you'd think they actually deserve it.

Moral of the story for everyone in this world; it doesn't matter that you cheat to get to where you are as long as you end up successful ?‍♂️

Not concerned with Liverpool really even though they may well win the CL, I'm delighted that we got third playing at Wembley something I did not expect in fact start of the season I predicted 6th because of that factor.
So I was wrong with that forecast and although the last few weeks haven't been great certainly the team has not been at their best and the semi-final loss was a tough one to take again, the team and management have to take great credit for seeing it through on the budget they operate with so well done to all.

Poch with another back me statement in the written press tonight

Over to you Levy, you better back the man !!

"I have a very clear idea of what we need to do. I don't know if the club will agree with me or not, but we are going to talk next week to create what I think we need to do together to improve, Until today it was so difficult to talk about the future, but from now we need to decide the way and how we are going to operate on the future, Our fans need to know what we are going to do and our fans need to feel the reality of the club and we need to tell the truth and create a very good expectation we can achieve. We cannot create dreams that we are not going to achieve. Today I 100 per cent feel I am here, but tomorrow it can change because it is not in my hands and it is not my decision whether I am here or not - it is down to my boss... you need to work with fear that you can lose your job if you are not professiona

Spending more than others isn't cheating mate nothing in the rules says they can't buy players for 50,60 or 70m it's up to them, we did a similar thing at the start of the 60s when Bill Nick was putting the double team together he spent to get the best players possible to achieve what he wanted.

And it only took 5 managers and 11 years.
