Just home and decided to look catch the flavour of the thread so at random I picked page 29 which was just as Leicester scored their third goal, if anyone wants to look back at pages 29 to 35 it's comedy gold!:)
I posted early on that with something to play for and no pressure along with the sun shining I was going to enjoy today and I did, what a game!
I don't know why Vertonghen didn't play he was named to play but dropped out last minute so I guess Dier had to drop back which upset the plan a little bit but at least we overcame it in the end.
Loving Lamela at the minute, KWP impressed me enormously and hopefully Kane has put the doubters in their place with those two goals.
Cracking game of football cracking game and, in the end, a cracking season, better than I thought we'd do having to play at Wembley and I dount Iam alone in that.
and now....
We're going home
we're going home
we're going,
Tottenham's going home!:)

I think you’re being over sensitive. You could look at it as a compliment in that it’s no big deal for us to be top four anymore, people are getting used to it :).

Or it could simply be that no one else gives a shit that we’re 3rd, because with no CL qualifying it’s as good as no difference to 4th.

The only two questions with today’s matches were confirming relegation and Liv and Chelsea getting top four.
Perhaps, but my dig wasn't just about today which I didn't make clear earlier. In my opinion the BBC's football reporting is generally very Liverpool biased. Liverpool always seem to be make the front page more than any other team and the praise is always over the top. For instance, the BBC recently ran a piece about who the best value "Big 6" manager is and came to the conclusion that it's Klopp on the basis that Liverpool had a £720,000 net spend over the last two seasons; seriously, they based it on net spend. They didn't take player wages into consideration or the fact that Liverpool had sold a player for £130m. They could have written a well thought out piece that gave consideration to more factors of equal merit but, no, they decided it was Klopp based on net spend because Klopp is Liverpool's manager and Liverpool apparently needs to be constantly praised by the BBC.

Crazy, crazy game. Some sublime finishing at one end, and some truly dreadful defending at the other.

It's astonishing really. The BBC headline is "Liverpool in Top Four" when it should actually be "Spurs claim 3rd". The BBC Liverpool bias is becoming really embarrassing.

Its really not that astonishing. Liverpool vs. Chelsea for 4th was one of the possible variables from todays results. Liverpool in the top 4 therefore was something confirmed today! We were confirmed during the week. Its really that simple

I was listening to the latest Fighting Cock podcast and the guest said he had inside information from two sources saying it was a done deal.
Christ that would be a jump for Jose considering how many of the under 25's in the squad he gives a shit about ....

Think it was interesting to see the team make so many defensive mistakes and still pull it off based on goal scoring power and capacity. Wonder if Pochettino gave them a different brief or whether it was more coinsidential.
