If we’re serious about going for it next season we should try to sign Vardy. Scores against big teams. Could play with Kane or instead. Gives you effort every week.

Fuck the racist pillock, i don't want him anywhere near my club. I'd sooner fail to win anything without that twat then win anything with him.

Vardy wouldn't get the space to run into he normally gets at Leicester also he has a telepathic understanding with Mahrez who always finds him, watch when Mahrez leaves in the summer his goals will dry up.

Just home and decided to look catch the flavour of the thread so at random I picked page 29 which was just as Leicester scored their third goal, if anyone wants to look back at pages 29 to 35 it's comedy gold!:)
I posted early on that with something to play for and no pressure along with the sun shining I was going to enjoy today and I did, what a game!
I don't know why Vertonghen didn't play he was named to play but dropped out last minute so I guess Dier had to drop back which upset the plan a little bit but at least we overcame it in the end.
Loving Lamela at the minute, KWP impressed me enormously and hopefully Kane has put the doubters in their place with those two goals.
Cracking game of football cracking game and, in the end, a cracking season, better than I thought we'd do having to play at Wembley and I dount Iam alone in that.
and now....
We're going home
we're going home
we're going,
Tottenham's going home!:)

Verts injured his right calf early in the warm up

Think of this thread as a safe space. A place where you can vent your frustrations with like minded individuals. Its almost cathartic.

When it goes too far is when its personal abuse or taken elsewhere (Twitter etc)

I've said before on here that Spurs fans being disrespectful to our 41 goal (with injuries) top scorer for example is the definition of insanity & just embarrassing. Last week people started on Poch.
I don't understand why anyone would need or want to vent at a superstar like Kane who we are so lucky to have, never mind need a "safe space" to act in this way.
World's gone mad.

Nah, that’s bollocks. He’s a canny, canny striker these days. Natural at pressing, so ideal for Poch. He’s a nasty little shit too, and we know Poch loves his soldiers - Lamela, Dier, etc.

Some weird comments from Poch's press conference. MOTD made it seem like he was threatening to leave if Daniel doesn't increase the wage bill.

"Today 100% I feel that I am here. But most important thing is that tomorrow all can change because it's not in my hands"

"I have very clear ideas of what we need to do. I don't know if the club will agree with me or not. It is a little bit up to Daniel and the club to agree with us"

"You need to be brave. Being brave is the most important thing and take risks"

There's actual legitimacy to that, do you know how many times Mahrez has setup Vardy and how many goals he's given him?

Also he could have gone to Arsenal last season and chose to stay saying that he's comfortable at Leicester because they play to his strengths, he wouldn't get the same service here and he'd have to contribute to the build up which is something he doesn't do much at Leicester.

But I'll let you have your dream :D

Just finished watching match choice and have to say the highlight for me was Gazzas floss lol.

What a game though.
I was called into work.
Unfortunately it was my u10s team I coach end of season presentation so I had to shoot off early
I was not a happy bunny.
Heard we were 1.2 down after 16min as I left.
WTF??? Now I'm so fkin pissed off its untrue.
By the time I got to site we'd just gone 1.3 down.
To say I had arse ache would be an understatement. Wanted to say fk all of it and go home.
Was a pig of a job but I cracked it so was happy with that.
Got in van.... picked up phone.
Txt from my sister.
5-4.
My sister doesnt follow football at all. Wtf is this???
Could it be we turned it around?
Could it??
My heart leapt in anticiation.
I went to Sky Score app.
Scrolled through to find Spurs score....

Farkin get in you beauties.
Drove home.
Sun was shining.
Life was wonderful again :)

Glad I didnt drive straight into a tree as I thought about doing at 1.3 lol.

Edit. Then replied to my sister saying if you ever txt me the fkin score again l kill you where you stand ;)

They picked out certain comments, but if you read the whole speech it could be read differently. That is, that people need to rein in their expectations if we continue on our present spending trend. I think that Poch really wanted to ensure that we were in the top four and it may have been a target. Who knows, maybe he was promised stuff if he did so. If it is true that Lewis is desperate to see us be champions, then he and Levy may need to do what they do on their business, speculate with investment.

In my opinion there should be more weekends where all PL matches kick off at the same time as opposed to just the last day of the season.

Thats a real hatchet job. There is no context to that. They are three different answers to three different questions, with much longer responses behind them. Makes it seem like its one long quote. Here is the actual press conference.
