They're facts about his 1st half performance, facts that maybe put some opinions into perspective a bit.

Barnes got away from him once, true, but additionally the right hand side of the pitch is not solely Trippier's responsibility to defend.
Another fact for you: All of there chances came through his position. He is not good enough for us.

Proper suspect officiating in that half. I don't want to sound like somone from rawk but that smelt fishy.

Yes Oliver has been a total toss pot 1st half but we're still lucky to be winning. Their much stronger bench will tell 2nd half so we need another.

Club needs to take action. That’s twice in weeks a Spurs player has had his honesty wrongly tarnished by a shocking referee decision. Not enough that he makes the wrong decision but Oliver, like Pawson, is absolutely sure enough if himself that he shows a card for simulation.

Wrongly.

Fuck this

Poch definitely needs to highlight it. It’s disgusting. Salah for example could have had 3 for simulation since the turn of the new year. Instead he gets penalties and free kicks, even when he does t get them the ref takes no action against him.

Trippier's horrendous first half has him with our best passing accuracy at 94.1%, having had involvement in the goal we lead with, 1 shot that we got a corner from, 1 key pass, 3 accurate long passes and 1 accurate cross out of 3.

Absolutely shite.

He’s a defender and he’s let Barnes have massive if space all first half
Like seriously when you watch us play do you just ignore everything bad Trippier does? Cause he’s been shocking yes shocking yet again

But you seem to go out of your way to stand up for just Trippier like your his guardian or something.

never see the same level of commitment with any other players...

It's getting to Calvin Klein levels now (obsession ;) )

I like that you want to stand up for the guy, but ease up a bit. (y)

Winks the best player on the pitch by so far that he genuinely could be playing another match. He's so fucking good.

Usual Tripps stuff. Good on the ball and going forward, but has been carried by Sanchez and Sissoko defensively. Barnes is a kid, and him and Chilwell look dangerous any time they get near Trippier.

Llorente some good centre forward play, and was molested at least 3 or 4 times by Maguire and/or Evans without it being called from Oliver who has a -100 rating to half time.

Oh, and some of the comments about an 18 year old CM in his third PL start have been utterly pathetic, and mostly from the usual suspects. Have some perspective ffs.

Get over it.

I take it some people in this thread have dared criticize Trip?

Look for something else to focus on, it's not healthy...
He has always had a hardon for Trippier therefore doesnt recognise his blunders and limitations.

Both deluded if you think he couldn’t have done a job and wouldn’t start more than 4 or 5 league games.

There's nothing to debate really, it's leciester city. Arrogant as it may be if we wanted him we would've got him.
Bottom line is Poch didn't think he was good enough to play for Tottenham /take up another squad number

Told you.
Skipp taking the heat off Winks
very effectively here.
Winks is taking the heat of Skipp with his performance, Skipp has attempted to force three passes in the first half that did not come off so he has decided to go back and side ways as he has watched Tielmans burn past him with pace. Not disrespecting him just saying what I see.

Can I just mention one small point regarding Skipp? He's only 18. He's very far from being the finished article.

Agree. Start of his career - wouldn’t be in the match day squad at any of our rivals. Now is not the time to be judging him.

It’s down to the club that we are in this position having to play him including selling Dembele without a replacement

KWP for Skipp and push Sissoko inside. KWP would cover well for Trips...
