If we win the league playing like this it would be ridiculous. Need some more champagne football. Away to city, pool and chavs looks far too tough right mow with the chances were conceding

There were lots of posts in today's match-day thread I didn't much care for. This one, though, I liked a lot...

Time moving in slow motion now. Waiting for that one last toby maguire chance/goal

That was pretty awful, and had a huge dollop of luck. A big three points but literally nothing getting to it I found enjoyable in those 90 minutes.

Fuck me that was mega stressful. We’ve done amazingly well to get through this period with maximum points. Well done all of them.

I don't think we played too bad today, we've just come up against very poor refereeing and a very good away side.

This is the type of match that we have almost always in my time as a supporter lost points.. But not with this team and this manager.
If we defend as bad in midweek as we did today we'll get hammered.

Lucky escape actually. Scoreline did not do justice at all
The ref skewed things so much with the pen decisions and constantly giving them the ball with free kicks, killing any flow we had, we totally deserved that win against that complete **** Oliver City.

Too much was bouncing of Llorente today, the ball just kept breaking down around him and they were picking it up and coming straight back at us, coupled with Son and Eriksen not really offering much in the way of movement, it gave us little options to play forward.
And Poch didn't really seem to have another plan other than drop deeper and put more defensive bodies on.

Still 3 points in the bag and some decent performances (not to mention the lesser spotted Lloris penalty save From Jamie Steptoe)

This season has taught me I'd rather win ugly than lose while being dominant. We continue to grind out the results. Thought the ref had a mare. Stuck in there and Son scoring from there was never in doubt.

I didn't realise until today we have next weekend off, so we can really go all out vs Dortmund on Wednesday, who lost a 3 goal lead themselves this weekend.

Keep believing. COYS.

Phew. Well that wasn’t easy.

Was impressed with Leicester today,
and I’ve said it beore, but with the right manager they could be a real good side.

Such a young dynamic team. Would love to have a few of their players.

Ricardo, Chilwell and Maddison the standouts.

I thought we were very lucky today. We were clinical - great. But we gave far too many chances away. And whatever the reason, we are far too open in the right back area. I don’t necessarily think it’s all Trippier’s fault. It’s in part how we are set up. But time and again Leicester exploited it. And there were other times where we were one knock on and missed interception away from giving them a clear goal opportunity.

It’s a credit to Sissoko who has done a brilliant job covering that area while playing CM. Without him I don’t know how many goals we’d concede.

Seriously did we Space Jam all of Mousa Dembele's talent into Moussa Sissoko before selling the talentless Mou(s)sa husk off to China? Absolutely imperious today.
