I have to say that we have a history of surprising the other 4 big clubs when totally unexpected so there's always hope.

We're expected to lose so little pressure except to avoid being embarrassed. I really would like to see us approach this with 5 at the back and a defend and break policy but I expect us to go down trying to dominate

Also, Lloris not throwing one in would be a massive help.

As much as i know the team are tired, we need a spark from somewhere which gets them concentrating for 90mins - no stupid mistakes and attacking with purpose and we may get something from the game. Not sure what that spark will be but i hope it's there.

The state of the pitch has given me some hope, as although we like to play football the right way too, City are just better than us. It could be the leveller we need, we can match them for physicality.

But then the thought of Ederson's kicking and their pace in behind our high line probably makes them more adaptable than us to these conditions anyway!

The fact City didn’t agree to reversing this fixture is a farce and it should have been forced on them, it’s not exactly a big deal playing 3 away games in a row.
