OGS likes a 4-3-3 formation. Given utds squad i'm guessing thats the way they'll line up. I'd play 4-1-3-2. Shame about dier cos he'd be handy for that. If I was poch thats the tactical surprise i'd spring.

Sissoko will have an important job today, using his strength and power to disrupt United’s midfield.

Presumably this was on the train? I’ve always wondered why united travel by train, the richest club in the world, when some clubs fly from London to Cardiff....seems a bit strange? Though flying is probably excessive, you’d just imagine the richest club would take that option?

Anyway hope we smash them tomorrow

That was a memory jog - harking back to the 1970's - we would get off the 'football special' at say Leicester's London Road Station and while we werebeing corralled by the local police with horses and dogs while the players would discretely saunter past us in their blue suits and the team's kit in wicker baskets on trolleys.

I had a dream last night that we won this game 5-0, scoring 4 in the first 20 mins.

I now fully expect yanited to batter us

At the moment his biggest trait to me seems to be to just keep the ball moving. Sometimes that may be just something we need, but other times like now, where we're so short in the middle and we seem to be getting so little from there, it at times doesn't feel like enough. I don't think you'll see him dictate a game any time soon, but then again I remember when that was a gripe with even Eriksen, so hopefully he will just continue to develop.

Like I've said before, for me it's just the element of unknown that has me worried with United. With the players United have, the results they've been getting against those particular opposition are ones they should be getting, so its hard to gauge whether they're excelling in their play, or just playing at a general level, because they were massively underperforming under Mourinho.

I still just think it's more about us than them, when Chelsea came here unbeaten in the league we thought it would be very tough and we raised our level and swept them aside. Hopefully it will be a similar type of performance today. For some reason I just feel like we'll either beat them fairly convincingly, or they will shock us and pull out the win, no in-between!

Fucking hate being the last game on in the weekend though, is the same again next weekend too :banghead:

Technically not the weekend but City play Wolves tomorrow night... MNF.

How often does this happen?

All the time if you watch Spurs. He’s very lightweight

Just because we come up against crap teams most of the time in the league it doesn’t make Winks weaknesses any less apparent.

Really interested to see how we do. If we lose the midfield battle like we did v Chelsea we will be in for a tough afternoon as United unlike Chelsea have many players who can score.

Yeah it's ok mate :) I was aware of that as I was typing but thought I'd still say it as like you say it's technically not the weekend. I need to start being able to be more productive in the time prior to kick off on match days, I just get overly anxious in waiting and don't want to do much else!

I hope everybody realises that if we win this there will be an avalanche of 'Why Poch is so much better than Solksjaer' in the media. Just saying.

There is going to loads of Pochettino to united before during and after the game regardless

If we beat United today, I'll be too busy enjoying the victory rather than worrying what the tooting mouth pieces for the United media bandwagon will be harping on about.

It's like football takes a back seat to 'days of our lives' drama that the media can concoct.

Vertonghen's kit is laid out in the dressing room, so confident he'll be in the squad.

i have a feeling we will see something special from the players today. With all this nonsense going on, i just wonder, that they may laid down a marker.

These are the sort of games we will miss the partnership of wanyama & dembele.

Hopefully our the fab 4 will do enough against UTDs defence if you can actually call that a defence...
