How did Poch and his asisstants not see this happening?

Its like when we all knew Davies would get destroyed by Mane and Salah a while back and lo and behold, he did.

Real questionable decisions from such a good coach
Hopefully United have spotted that, and leave him alone.

We absolutely need to test their defence second half, and I'm not talking about 25 yard ballooned shots from Winks.

Souness's first sentence: Man Utd have been fabulous

Total nonsense

Is it? Defensively we’ve not had a sniff. They’ve been solid in midfield and barely given our creative players time to think. They’ve looked to get in time and time again, and nailed it just before half time.

They set a trap and we fell into it. They’ve been very good.

We’ve been shit.

They have an abundance of pace up top and we have none in defence. No real surprise we get caught out, especially when we Trippier is always liable to

Not sure if Aurier is injured but should be playing Rose at least. Surely he could've handled another game with the 4 days rest in between.

Sack the diamond now and go 3 in centre mid with Lamela on the right and Son left.

I agree, but we don't look like buying anyone anytime soon, so KWP is the best option.
I'd love to agree with that, but I don't think the guy's game is mature enough and he needs to go out on loan and get gritty.

As much as I want it to be the case, I don't think he can cut it defensively in the prem. as it stands.

Lets face it the commentary is salivating over this Utd that have been nothing special barring a couple of long balls to fast men.
And the only goal they have was down to a monumental fuck up from Trippier.

We can still get something from this, just need to be stronger and use the ball quicker. Start on the front foot and don't back off until we are back in it.

Eriksen, Alli and Son need to do much more second half, and a few hard challenges wouldn't go amiss to fire up the crowd. (Lamela, Davies)

We’re only a goal down. There’s plenty of time left to remedy that score line.

We just have to be clinical in the second half and stop making those mistakes.

Interesting how Davies gets forward but players don’t seem to want to pass to him.

Oh and Tripper having another stormer.

Not playing Sanchez probably not the smartest move considering how quick United are on the break.

Winks is going to have to do a double shift second half. Who’s our next CM in line after Skipp?!

If we can keep them to one, we can still get back in this.

It seems strange considering we're now losing but back 3 might not have been the worst idea when Sissoko went off. Couldn't we have brought on Sanchez, took defensive emphasis off the fullbacks who were struggling and played Winks Eriksen and Alli behind Son and Kane?

Not having that trippier is there for his crossing. 3 assists Vs Aurier 2 in 17 games Vs 6. Put the goals given away stat up and it makes the above irrelevant.

Aurier is simply a better footballer. People can't forget the erratic first few performances 2 years ago.

It was a great finish. Lloris had to back pedal and rule number one is protect your near post, which is what he did.
Here lies they problem Spurs fans just accept poor performance and don't demand better. I don't think Gazzaniga gets beaten by that. From that angle I was shocked it went in.

I would suggest putting Sanchez on and playing 3 at the back but then you’d have to take Lamela off so...

I would have maybe brought Foyth on as DM for Sissoko. ???
