Now we invited Man U back into the race. Now we have to play without Sonny for a couple of games and Sissoko is probably out for a while. I can see us dropping some points in the nearby future. It doesn't help when you have a chairman who thinks it's more important to win the net spend table instead of strengthening the team.

We've been miles the better team. They edged the first half, we've battered them this second.

And you'd expect us to batter them. We're the better team, at home and a goal down. And yet we lost.

Fair play to them. Momentum is with them. We've now lost six league games this season, and are on course to lose 10+ by the end of the 38 games. Forget looking above. We need to try and get this job done and finish top four. In fact, with Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal all still in contention for a European trophy we need to make sure we finish top three.

Fuck me. Son off, Kane now injured and all after the most frustrating game of the season.

But I thought we were fucking brillant for the most of the game. It was just a ten minute period in the first half.

So frustrating.

Can't really blame any of our players - the David De Gea team strikes again.
I thought they were all pretty bog standard saves though, apart from the Alderweireld one. He did well for Alli's when he ran through, but it wasn't anything amazing.

We did well until we got to the box, but the finishing was tired.

I guess I'll disagree. De Gea was great but a lot of that was down to poor finishing. Entire goal in front of you and you put it within distance of De Gea each time. Dele particularly was bad. Had about 4-5 excellent chances with poor finishing.

Fucking timewasting ****s. How the mighty have fallen. I grew up with Man Utd being some kind of unstoppable force who whalloped us no matter their XI, and now it's come to this shit. Timewasting from the first minute, and the **** Dean didn't even blink. No booking, no warning, and then four bloody minutes added on.

I don't think so. They were outclassed.

Anyone who watches football and isn't a liar will tell you we should have won easily.

I fully agree but I just think it will all be about the result and not the performance on the pitch. They may say it was a De Gea masterclass, but I doubt they'll highlight how lucky United were to get away with that scoreline from that second half performance.

Don't get how some of you guys are holding the lads accountable for those strikes not going in.

De Gea is just possessed tonight.

De Gea made a couple of really good saves but the rest were just really poor finishing and saves that you would expect him to make.

Hopefully they give the job fulltime to OGS
OGS is shit.. He just has the rub of luck in his management. This shit manure team will be back to some poor results and the topic of tapping up Poch will be all over the media again in a few months.

We must get rid of these piss poor fullbacks. The finishing cost us the win, it was poor in front of goal tonight. But we don’t usually have a problem scoring goals. It’s these pathetic goal we are conceding because of piss poor full backs that is driving me nuts. Trippier is criminal. He needs to go. He has to. Davies too. He’s so bland and average.

Finally all the games have caught up with Kane, lead feet today..

Poch got the starting formation wrong, too much

I would say Poch got it very wrong!
Agreed. Not even so much the formation as the high line. We only had one defender with pace and it was his first game back, and they had Martial, Lingard and Rashford. Absolutely suicidal and we had several warnings before they scored. Actually reminded me a lot of the Spain 2-3 England game in the Nations League a couple of months back which featured Lingard and Rashford with much the same strategy.

A good display from us the second half but the end result is very disappointing. Got done by a poor United team and a manager is a caretaker at best.

Fuck. Sissoko out injured and possibly Kane as well.

The one positive is that Ole will crowned as the prodigal son after this win. Which means no MoPo to United.
