Aurier needs a run of games in place of Trippier. Trippier was awful today, gave the ball away cheaply 3-4 times and ultimately responsible for their only goal with just careless play.

Frustrating. Annoyed. Dreadful finishing. Hit them balls 2 yards to the side of De Gea we are laughing at 4-1. Thats what seperates the men from the boys at the end of the season

Now we invited Man U back into the race. Now we have to play without Sonny for a couple of games and Sissoko is probably out for a while. I can see us dropping some points in the nearby future. It doesn't help when you have a chairman who thinks it's more important to win the net spend table instead of strengthening the team.

I don't see what this has got to do with the fact we can't finish our chances.

Honestly, how did we not win that. Should of one comfortably. The only silver lining is that maybe this is the game that will end Man utd interest in Poch and frankly Solskjær deserves the job.

Its frustrating because all in all we played really well, just a silly mistake by Tripps (not the first time) and poor finishing/inspired performance by De Gea cost us.

Similarlary the ref wasn't great today. Did nothing about the time wasting which started in the first half and Pogba was lucky to stay on. Our injury problems have also left us with a real energy issue in midfield. Hope Dier is back soon...

I feel so embarrassed right now, I thought we would win fairly comfortably but nooooooo instead we let the United fans be even more cocky and now the media will be even more unbearable

Trippier and Davies please please please just leave

Alli today soooo poor, took 10000 touches before doing anything

And how the fuck can we sell Dembele without replacing him??? The board is seriously pissing me off

And Winks why would you say we can win the league?! Just stay quiet and humble, we have never been really close to win the league

Embarrassed? Seriously?

Get a grip

Fucking timewasting ****s. How the mighty have fallen. I grew up with Man Utd being some kind of unstoppable force who whalloped us no matter their XI, and now it's come to this shit. Timewasting from the first minute, and the **** Dean didn't even blink. No booking, no warning, and then four bloody minutes added on.
The tops teams have always done this. Always.

That wasn’t unlucky or one of those days. That was a lack of composure and quality in the final third in a big high pressure game. This isn’t the first time and won’t be the last. Not good enough from everyone involved.

It was good enough from most of them we were superb. Dele and Particularly kane were below par In terms of their finishing and it cost us, simple as.

And kane has a lot of credit in the bank for one of those days.

As a team we were fantastic second half.

Really pissed off about this. When we needed to shut Sky United up we gave them cause to ridicual.

We have an unfavourable record against top 6 teams and Wembley is becoming a problem now.

Second half of the season - with our schedule, players are going to breakdown at some point.

We haven't spent anything to accommodate that inevitability, so....

As fan, it's simply not rational to expect big things until we develop a squad that's able to deliver over a gruelling season in all comps, covering injuries, fatigue, international stints/departures, loss of form etc.

With what we have, a domestic cup would be a real blessing.

Any talk of being unlucky is losers talk really. Ultimately it is because of what we have done that has seen us lose the game.

First half we are naïve in the extreme, asking to be done on the counter but neither the players on the pitch or the manager on the touchline have done anything about it. Then we commit a brainfart and basically gift them a goal.

Second half yeah we have huffed and puffed, given it a go and created chances. But apart from the one class save De Gea made from Alderweireld, all the others are ones I'd be expecting a keeper to make, they just look a bit more jazzy because he uses his feet more to make saves. The Alli and Kane one on ones should have been buried, no if's no but's, Rashford tucked his away.......

We have to take responsibility for what we did, or didn't do, and what was within our control. On the balance of play we did deserve something, but ultimately what we did wasn't good enough to get it and that's the mentality that is needed to kick on.

Absolutely criminal finishing, should have been out of sight second half, didn’t even test De Gea, gutting performance. Again when it mattered.

That was literally the Everton game.

Except against a worse defence.

The fact we didn’t take a single one of those chances is a disgrace.

Massive battle for the top 4 now, United will catch us before the end.
United weren't all that against an injury ravaged Spurs team, that's played more football recently than them. Been more clinical, we'd have won 3 or 4-0. DeGea did make some very good saves, they were not all at him.
