How the he'll are we gonna cope now with Sissoko injured and Son gone on international duty? Seriously, fuck this season.

I so disappointed Son is not his usual self tonight. Has he even taken a shot at all.

Saving himself for a better international tournament?

We’ve got a set of relatively easy games coming on. Let’s just focus on a top four place and maybe a cup or two.

The title can wait until next season.

Aurier needs a run of games in place of Trippier. Trippier was awful today, gave the ball away cheaply 3-4 times and ultimately responsible for their only goal with just careless play.

The annoying thing is, are his crosses even that good to warrant such a light defender?

Just one of those things that happen in football, and especially to Tottenham. One opponent with really high spirits, one good goalie who in addition is having the match of his career, and one ref who is afraid of his reputation being further smudged. It's part of being a Tottenham fan to see losses on days like these. Moving on.

Fuck me. Son off, Kane now injured and all after the most frustrating game of the season.

But I thought we were fucking brillant for the most of the game. It was just a ten minute period in the first half.

Yep, nothing like the Liverpool or Wolves losses. We were quality second half bar the woeful finishing. Couldn’t hit a barn door.

Talking Of barn doors, if Kane’s out we’ve just got big Vinny back!

We really should have won that by 2 or 3 goals with the chances we had. Terrible to lose Sissoko - great second half changes by Poch and good performance just marred by poor finishing.

We're 7 ahead of Arsenal and United. It's not a dog fight yet. There's a battle for the title, a battle for 3rd and a battle for 5th right now.
Exactly. We'll battle Chelsea for 3rd. United have done nothing this match to make me believe they'll be a genuine threat of knocking either of us out of the top 4. Arsenal are a dumpster fire.

And Kane’s hurt. So we dont have a striker, have 1 CM and Son is off to join his national team. Yay.
Lucas injured for we don't know how long, Son going for a number of games. Sissoko injured. Not sure Wanyama is gonna play another minute this season. We're also selling Dembele not that he's fit anyway.

We've literally got Skipp and Winks atm in CM, we need to bring someone in, even if it's a loan to get us through until the end of the season with top 4. Otherwise with the amount of games we've got we'll end up running Alli and Eriksen into the ground.

Massive battle for the top 4 now, United will catch us before the end.
Much will depend on our ongoing injury issues. If we continue to have players miss large portions of the season, then that might be possible. That said, let’s not get too carried away. I think by any objective measure, UTD shouldn’t be too pleased with themselves. We opened them up countless times. If not for some great saves and poor finishing the result would’ve been in our favor.

Utd will continue to do well, but we need to focus on ourselves and pick up points where we can. If we take care of business then we will stay ahead of them.

Only ourselves to blame for not taking even one of the multiple great opportunities we found ourselves in.

But let the Ole wank-fest begin...

Good. Hopefully means they give him the job.

He’ll flop 100%
He’s useless

As for us? Very poor result. Getting dragged back in to a battle for top 4 I fear.

They touched on Dembele being fit and available for today’s selection. That in itself shows where we are. Miles away from a proper challenge.
Potentially not considering one of our best midfielders because we want to get rid of him this window, well, it’s more like an approach expected of a mid table club with nothing to play for. Not even a side in a relegation battle would take that approach.

I can’t quite believe how we’ve managed to stay in relative touch given our approach this season.

Our midfield situation is absolutely laughable at the moment

Please stop with the De Gea worldie nonsense they were all bog standard saves apart from the Alderweireld one.

Our finishing was poor today and we gifted them a goal.

Lots of bad luck combined with a lack of quality in front of goal today.

Today was almost a carbon copy of the city match earlier in the season.

Losing 6 games already is just terrible.
