What about Kane, Son, Sissoko our for six weeks and Dembele being sold?

There will be no reinforcements.

We haven’t had to deal with any of our current problems so far this season and as I said most of our games have been away from home - that’s why we’ve been doing well.

We now have new problems to deal with, big problems.
Let's see before we assume huh? But even with Skipp in MF and Llorente upfront and Lamela or Lucas in AM for a month I'd make us strong favourites. Especially as it corresponds with favourable games. Trust in Pooch

He was down for several minutes getting treatment at the end. He did walk off the pitch, but he was grimacing and limping. And the look on his face said to me he was concerned ( although that last bit might just be my natural Spurs fan pessimism kicking in).

That’s steal blow with son out of. Llorente time ??

Agreed, would have taken top 4 before start of season and still would but that is far from done.
we have to win our next 5 which are winnable on paper but loss of Kane is what is concerning me the most.
We have no midfield and have to rely on Llorente to score goals for us over next few weeks.... worrying
Not if he plays like he did against Tranmere!

Pogba had one good pass and pundits acting like he was magnificent. Yes it was a good pass but didnt notice him much after that.
They were acting like Utd blew us away first half when in reality there was nothing special so it's just par for the course that their one moment of quality results in messiah like praise.

It is concerning especially the 2nd leg of the semi-final coming up it will be so typical if the club lose yet another one, still on the bright side the likes of you and me can put our name's forward and probably get a game so not all bad.

Reports coming in that Kane has swelling on his ankle (per Poch).
Lets hope its bruising from impact as opposed to a strain or break.

We've got a tough job and disadvantage as it is against the money clubs without us having injury problems

Amazing how people can be so fickle after one defeat. A defeat after a tough festive period and a sequence of who knows how many midweek games, a growing injury list. Yet we dominated that second half, created a ton of chances. I guarantee on another day they go in and we would win that.

On Kane and Sissoko's injuries, let's wait for the scans etc. We have a midweek off now, so time to rest and heal up. I expect a thrashing at Fulham.

Sickening to lose that one, but thinking of the chances we missed, there aren’t too many of them that you wouldn’t expect your goalkeeper to save, perhaps just the Toby one at the near post was a fantastic stop. To have so many opportunities and not to bury any of them is incredible.

The goal against was entirely preventable, a given away ball from a sloppy blind pass and a big through ball into open space. Hugo could maybe do a little better too but that’s being harsh.

Definitely should have been off.
If pogba had ripped one of our players legs off dean may have give a yellow, fucker was going to give us nothing today like his last dozen ir so matches, it really does seem like people questioning him liking us has totally sent him the other way

Look we lost we shouldn't have, due again to our own doing. We need to cut out the mistakes. Desvered a draw at the very least. Have four winnable league games now.

Don't be obtuse.

I’m not being obtuse. I’m asking a serious question. According to you, he’s no good for Man Utd (who are begging for him by the way) or Madrid (who are also begging for him) and yet you think he’s not ‘tactically seasoned’. I don’t think that two of the biggest clubs in the world would be touting for his signature if they thought he had a serious flaw like not being ‘tactically seasoned’. It really pisses me off when boo boys like you want the greatest manager Spurs have EVER had out the door as soon as we lose a match. You can’t blame Pochettino for the goal. You have to blame the players. All of them, bar none, were shocking today. You can’t blame Poch for the players poor form and lack of tactical understanding. Trust me, if he does go you’ll be one of the first to wish he were back.

so Poch is worried re Kane.
"big swelling on ankle and this could be a big problem for us"

bang in trouble unless we can pull Son back which I suspect is unlikely.

No I mean it was between phases right. We building an attack. The point is do that against any team you'd struggle. The goal was conceded from a position where we should of been in control. Not from a risky attacking situation, its was inexcusable. More a goal caused through pressing than a old school Man utd counter.

If counter attacking just means losing the ball than pretty much every attack is a counter attack. Transition is a word so hipster that its part of the official coaching provided by the FA. It just means a different thing its not hipster or not. You call an apple an apple. It literally means building an attack from defense. Or moving the ball from defense to attack, nothing to do with counter attacking.
Please explain what a counter attack is then. Because to me it means attacking and moving the ball quickly from any part of the pitch when you win back the ball. Which is exactly what they did.

Regardless what you want to call it, every time we were in possession in the first half they looked more dangerous than us. We weren't in control. That's the point. It was the complete opposition of the Chelsea game in the league.

Just one of those games today, but Utd were good on the counter. Hopefully Kane's knock is just an impact one. Think about 4 or 5 players went in for the same challenge at the end there.

Our squad is looking pretty thread bare at the moment. Injuries just keep mounting up especially in centre midfield.

Again though defensive errors are costing us points. Quite a few of our losses are down to individual errors. Tripper especially. He's great going forward, when we play three at the back he has someone covering his mistakes, but two at the back really shows his flaws.

Oh and another thing, this diamond formation had an effective few weeks (mostly in open games) but I think it's time for it be knocked on the head. Got a bit predictable and more and more teams are counteracting it.
