so Poch is worried re Kane.
"big swelling on ankle and this could be a big problem for us"

bang in trouble unless we can pull Son back which I suspect is unlikely.

Can we just pay the south korean FA a load of cash to get him back? Would be cheaper than a new signing. We really need him.

Are we all just assuming Kane is injured or is there any facts involved?
Facts?..Where we're going we don't need facts.
Also some melon earlier could tell by the look on Kane's face he'd be out out for 6 weeks...you don't get more factual than that Riggs.

We love a meltdown more than Liverpool fans.

Biggest self haters in the game.

Tbf if you seen his expression coupled with Poch saying there is swelling and his past injury problems odds are he’s out for a while, i will be ecstatic if wrong as we need him.

Oh and another thing, this diamond formation had an effective few weeks (mostly in open games) but I think it's time for it be knocked on the head. Got a bit predictable and more and more teams are counteracting it.

I’m not an “all about the signings” type of fan but I dunno is it just me who thinks having one fit CM (Skipp clearly isn’t trusted enough yet) is a wee bit, I dunno, insane?
Kane might be injured now and Son missing suddenly I’m looking over our shoulder at how many pts clear we are from 5th/6th. Two windows and not signing anyone now considering our current options is verging on recklessness.

I agree, but the threat was massively heightened from them in that first half due to us having our fullbacks so high up and leaving the centre backs vulnerable to a potential counter attack. Yes the goal came from a mistake and Pochettino can't account for that, but the fact of the matter is that it's of course always a possibility that you can lose possession, no matter where you are on the pitch. To have just Alderweireld and Vertonghen left facing potential counter attacks against Lingard, Martial and Rashford is overly risky. Also Davies doesn't offer much of an outlet on the left side going forward anyway. He should have been staying deep and providing cover like he was in the 2nd half.

Even minus the Tripper error and if they didn't score then, having better cover is something we should have been doing anyway. Like said in commentary it was similar to what we did against Liverpool earlier on, leaving our centre backs vulnerable against the potential counter attack of their front three. Disagree all you want, but that was massively naive.

I know we like to have our fullbacks high up, but there are certainly occasions where I think we need to provide more security in having them sit deeper.

I don't see what difference Davies would have made if he was stayed deep with Vertonghen as he isn't the quickest but Poch probably wanted Trippier and Davies to push up higher to try and prevent the midfielders from playing the ball over the top. You can disgaree with the tactics but I think it is a bit silly to say it is naive because frankly Poch knows vastly more about tactics than the vast majority on this forum.

I hate the fact that 90,000 can turn up for Man Utd yet can’t be fucked for Burnley or Southampton.
I don't blame them for a second. The 3 hr + round trip for most is not an enjoyable day out. And 3 hours is kind, that is if you leave the ground in the 75th minute.

Credit where it's due today. We tore apart an inform team time and time again, after a tactical change at half time.

Unfortunately the finishing let us down. And Fuck De Gea. My dead nan would have saved most of them

That melon was me you cheeky **** :D.

I can’t diagnose timeframes but when someone is kicked, stays on the ground getting treatment and then tries to walk and grimaces in pain holding a part of their body I think it’s a fair shout that they have injured that part of their body.
