I’m done with investing so much time and emotion in this club. It is literally like asking to be let down every year without fail.

Poch is a loser, Kane is playing like Kaz Hirai thought he would, Dembele has a go faster stripe in his head now, referee gave them everything but what’s the point in even complaining - it’s the same every fucking time.

We’re Spurs fans. Our club is a fucking meme. We contrive to fail at every hurdle and I just can’t be bothered.

Don’t care about knee jerking, don’t care about football anymore. This was our best chance at a trophy in so long and we have to suffer through that display in abject wankism.

Fuck you, Spurs. Fuck you, anybody that reads this and thinks of a little pseudo-witty quip - trying to mask their own disheartenment by acting like it’s weird to be downbeat about it.

Sell them all, smash down the stadium, nuke Chick King. There’s no fucking point.
Steady now... :stop:

disappointed in the second half.
i do feel like there is a little bit of luck that never seems to go our way in these games....
against Juve Kane's header for eg and today,
one slip from MD and they get in, Dier's shot flicks the post and goes out....small margins unfortunately

I don’t think they are more talented than us across the board.

But mentally? Wow there is a gulf in class between us and some sides we come up against.

Kane > Lakaku
Verts and Sanchez > Smalling and Jones
Davies > Young

The comparisons continue, but there is a professionalism that we just don’t have
Don’t agree about Davies. Defensively he may be ok but offensively very poor. He rarely crosses well and he certainly isn’t quick.

This has clearly got nothing to do with individual players. There was more than enough quality out there for us to win.

Experience and know-how is what we lack. This is cos we only buy potential- we need an old head who’s been there, done it. None of our players have done it on the big stage and hurts us massively.

Strangely not even livid tonight as I have been in previous semis, probably cos as soon as they equalised the result was inevitable

This was the one game I was looking forward to and it was so flat and predictable. It's not like we even had any chances in the 2nd half either, it was just so deflating.

There is nothing to look forward to in the rest of the season now.

United of a couple of seasons ago we would have won easily, but if they're not winning they buy winners, Pogba, Sanchez, Lukaku, there's over 200m right there, they like City are in the business of buying success, unfortunately can only see us continue to sell and continue to fall short when it matters most.

The key word is "feel" obviously I don't actually think we're cursed, I didn't think I needed to qualify my post with my disbelief in witchcraft.

But we're not legends either, you physically can't pull off some of the results we have in the last few years and be legends, it's impossible

You can however lose football matches and it can fucking hurt when you do, as happened today.

We always lose the really big games. The ones that mean we actually win something. What’s the last really important individual game, which has something tangible riding on it, that you can remember us winning? City in 2010?

It's down to resources and cash - simple as that.

We have had some great chances but choked to many times. Its not always about cash. This season our name should have been on the FA cup but we jsut can't seem to get over the line. IMO we have the better squad out of all the 4 that were left.

I'm going to be honest, after this I've absolutely lost hope for this club to win silverware.

Sure, we play great stuff, we win a lot of games, but we always always fall short when it matters. That's eight FA Cup semi-finals we've lost since we last reached the final. Honestly, what's the point in all that Pochettino has done if it hasn't brought us any closer to actually winning something?

We started well today, but as usual in big games, our finishing was poor. Then, Dembele fucked up massively, turning into danger and losing the ball on the edge of our box, and it cost us not just a goal, but the game. From that moment on, I don't think we created a genuine chance.

The second United took the lead, I think we all knew it was over. The players' heads dropped, and we didn't look at all like scoring. Even into injury time, we were passing it back and forth sluggishly outside of the box, with no movement up front, no one standing up to be counted, no one stepping up to be a hero.

And what was our captain doing? He was sitting on the bench. Our vice captain, meanwhile, was nowhere to be seen. Who's going to inspire our players on to get a result? No one.
He definitely has brought us closer because we're a far better team than we were four years ago. However whether we will actually do it under him is debatable. Personally i'm starting to think he's a man to lay the foundations for a manager in the future to win something.

In terms of the quality of our players we are no different to the rest of the top six. We are not going away from the top six now with the new stadium so we will win something by the law of averages at some point. I'm just not sure it'll be under Pochettino.

Lol. I nearly kept weeding the garden instead of watching. I should of known better than to come on and watch.

Spineless 2nd half performance.

Poch needs to maintain his fitness rule reardless who the player is. Kane was useless and clearly isn't fit. I thought we managed fine without Kane.
It's a tough one because we can't not play Kane, he's the one who we can count on most often than not.....

However, I am concerned that he isn't being honest with himself and us because since he returned he's been far from his best, our performances have dipped and the 'goal claim' hasn't helped as it's only added further pressure.
