I think Kane has to start on the bench for our next couple of matches. The post injury Kane is a far cry from the early season Kane. Its like we have been playing with 10 men when he's been on the pitch in our last few games. We can't keep on saying that he needs games to get his fitness back.
He only came back to try and win Golden Boot. Selfish. His appeal re. Eriksons goal shows that.

Lost in midfield. Dembele was a liability today. Wink's injury has left us with no alternatives.
1 even 2 CM's needed.

Ok mate away you go and support Chelsea.
You really cannot blame people for getting angry. It seems like every season this happens, we never ever exceed expectations and win a trophy like Wigan or Stoke, it's always because other teams have more money than us.

Whether it is the manager or not I don't know, but I have a feeling it will be the next manager after Pochettino that might lead us to trophies. Pochettino has taken us so far, but will we make this next step under him? I really hope we can but i'm not 100% sure yet.

It just feels like Pochettino has put in all the groundwork, maybe it will be our next manager that will reap the rewards.
It's certainly plausible that this will become a topic now. The best of Pochettino-football is 120% of what a Spurs-fan could ever expect. The worst hits a firm 0%. The average of which, sadly, doesn't reach greatness. Pochettino will pick up the odd trophy in his career, but one must wonder whether that will ever be down to his ability, or down to pure, dumb luck.

You have question just where the blame lies? Players? Manager ? Collective problem ?
The blame lies in the fact we're playing a team who are littered with world class players, with one of the best managers in world football telling them what to do.
We're just not at that level yet, it's that simple.
A defeat was always a very real possibility.

I should put a bet on us finishing 5th just to make sure we don't since I can't have any happiness in my life it seems.

Mourinho milked that last 15 minutes just like I said. How many Man U players faces will be black andblue tomorrow? All their faces should be fucked up the way they went down holding them. And our lack of urgency was just as bad.

Yep, had completely taken the momentum and energy out of the game, felt like barely any football was being played.

We’ll never win anything until we master the dark arts that all the winning teams are experts at. Doesn’t help when the ref doesn’t send off players for clear offences but still, as soon as we went behind it was never in doubt. Time wasting, diving, cheating, it’s ugly as fuck but that’s what winners do.
Agree completely. From about 75th minute we actually played about 5min of football. Ooh cramp. Ooh sub. Ooh hold ball for throw in, freekick, goal kick etc.
What a shit team Man u are.
Did absolutely fuck all the whole game. Knew itd play out like that.

Tis' done now. But, I do wonder if MOTD looks at Valencia non red and Herrera continual fouling incidents...or just have a jizz fest for UTD.

Can't deny. Mourinho has a way of winning these type of games. United have a habit of getting the job done even if it's dirty and ugly.

Let's be honest, we didn't really do ourselves many favours from about 5 minutes before their equaliser.

Closing note. Why isn't Trippier crossing anymore? I thought he did quite well defensively, an area I thought he would struggle today. But no, it was his lack of input in final 3rd that somewhat baffled me.

Regroup move on. Still a 3rd spot in league to steal from the scouse.

If we ever want to Win anything we need to go out and spend 100s of millions and buy, been there, done it, players with a winning mentality because its clear no one there has it. Now is the time to make the choice. Be happy being the nearly club who sells our best players and usually finishes top 6. Or show Eriksen, Ali and Kane we mean business and buy real quality and pay them real good money.. They will be next after Toby.. Top players have 2 motivations, Big money or Trophies, we don't offer either

Another pathetic performance when it mattered.

Yet again first team players have their heads turned and sit out big games where we lose. Poch really taught them a lesson!

Sadly any player with any ambition of winning silverware will prob leave.

To be honest why would you listen to a manager like Pochettino, he has never won anything.

Over the past few years we've gone close in titles and cups but our players never ever turn up when it really matters. Kane and Son being the worst offenders today. Kane was invisible.

I find it difficult to imagine us ever winning a major trophy in my lifetime.

Three substitutions and what changed? We didn't lay a glove on them and were so easy to play against.

I'm going to be honest, after this I've absolutely lost hope for this club to win silverware.

Sure, we play great stuff, we win a lot of games, but we always always fall short when it matters. That's eight FA Cup semi-finals we've lost since we last reached the final. Honestly, what's the point in all that Pochettino has done if it hasn't brought us any closer to actually winning something?

We started well today, but as usual in big games, our finishing was poor. Then, Dembele fucked up massively, turning into danger and losing the ball on the edge of our box, and it cost us not just a goal, but the game. From that moment on, I don't think we created a genuine chance.

The second United took the lead, I think we all knew it was over. The players' heads dropped, and we didn't look at all like scoring. Even into injury time, we were passing it back and forth sluggishly outside of the box, with no movement up front, no one standing up to be counted, no one stepping up to be a hero.

And what was our captain doing? He was sitting on the bench. Our vice captain, meanwhile, was nowhere to be seen. Who's going to inspire our players on to get a result? No one.

Open top bus with a print out of the league table with us hopefully in 4th anyone?

I hate the mentality around modern football but Poch realises for financial reasons we need CL.

Get used to it

It's down to resources and cash - simple as that.

A lack in both of those hasn't held back Arsenal. We take the piss out of the Gooners but I'd give my right arm to see Spurs win three FA Cups within a space of four seasons.

I’m done with investing so much time and emotion in this club. It is literally like asking to be let down every year without fail.

Poch is a loser, Kane is playing like Kaz Hirai thought he would, Dembele has a go faster stripe in his head now, referee gave them everything but what’s the point in even complaining - it’s the same every fucking time.

We’re Spurs fans. Our club is a fucking meme. We contrive to fail at every hurdle and I just can’t be bothered.

Don’t care about knee jerking, don’t care about football anymore. This was our best chance at a trophy in so long and we have to suffer through that display in abject wankism.

Fuck you, Spurs. Fuck you, anybody that reads this and thinks of a little pseudo-witty quip - trying to mask their own disheartenment by acting like it’s weird to be downbeat about it.

Sell them all, smash down the stadium, nuke Chick King. There’s no fucking point.
PS I love you really

But that’s why the loss to Portsmouth in the semi was stupid, they were at the bottom of the league and played nobody in the final!
