I really can’t put my finger on why we lost today. We were better than Utd a month or so ago. You can blame Vorm for our performance on the pitch. Same team as what we had in Feb.
So disappointed with not going over final hurdle. Hope they don’t crumble now.

You don't get to where we have with a bag of luck.
Arsenal only got to where they are with a bag of luck and a few very inspired signings (Henry, vieira, petit...). After that their transition was difficult but manageable. Yes we’ve had luck with Kane, but we’d have spent

Still can't quite get over the commentators taking the piss out of the little kid who'd done his THFC in a mirror and then the coverage finally flicking back to the football and Man U scoring almost immediately from Lukaku's complete miscontrol. The football gods fucking hate us.

I had a covering bet on Utd today as the odds and our history were too good to miss. I've not covered us not finishing in the top 4.

It doesn't even make me feel better but I pretend it does

The players we need to keep are Eriksen, Kane, and Vertonghen. Not bothered about the others.

You’re just playing the Oil Slavers game there. It’s about the team not the individual.
We wont keep on defying the odds and qualifying for the CL, as good as Poch is.

Time for the board to have a serious look at themselves before it all falls apart.

I’m not sure I understand what you want them to do? Buy Alexis Sanchez? Pogba? Spend a billion pounds?

We aren’t an oil slave club. And shouldn’t want to be. Wage spending will rise with the new stadium which will help but aren’t we actually doing everything we can to compete?

We are a damn good business and have been for a very long time but we have been a very ordinary football club when it comes to success on the pitch for a very long time. No point qualifying for european competitons when you dont even come close to winning (including europa).

No, we just aren’t good enough.

Laughing stock even when we are apparently competing too. I’d rather go out in the third round and finish tenth every season than be the perpetual nearly men who have not got the arsehole to go the next step.

All the while we’ve been threatening, plenty of shit sides and clubs have won stuff. When it matters, really matters, Tottenham lose football games, it’s as sure as night follows day.

I just wanted a trophy to keep big players happy. They will all be looking at walker with envious eyes and getting their agents on the case. I would
The big players should have stepped up and seized the day then. Simple as that. If they want to jump ship to go to a club where they will win something because they haven’t got the balls to win it as a “big” player it says more about them and their temperament.

Sounds like Poch isn’t sure if he wants to carry on being the paupers of the elite. Players and staff might carry on into the new stadium, but I think we’re on borrowed time with them if we don’t change things next season. Money needs to be spent to compete. We need big game players.

This argument just doesn’t hold up. Look at all the players that have left to win things and have won things. We might be a better club now, but we aren’t investing in winners and we aren’t winning anything

We helped them score the first goal and get back into the game.

They gladly accepted our gift and built on it.

When we played them in the league we got into them early but today after we scored we seem to freeze, the players just went in on themselves and once Utd equalised I feared the worst
Big players at big clubs step up to the occasion we sadly are still waiting and waiting for success, again like last year we just didn't turn up I thought utd were better than us and the players along with their manager had the big game mentality that is so lacking in us piss poor all round today.
