Did you check your blood glucose?

That was high, I have to admit in in having a half pint of cider sitting in the garden prior to k.o.

The old ticker was running very fast throughout the game, like old times when the Mrs would threaten to ban me watching cos I got wound up so much.

Plus a couple of bottles of lager after the match, unusually I left 4 in the fridge, I couldn't bring myself to
drowning my sorrows. Had a mound of biscuits instead. V.Bad I know..

All OK this morning, bloods ok, pills taken and getting a reality check.

I'll probably watch the Arse/WH match today, knowing that as it stands we are 14 points clear of them
and anything less than a win for Arsenal will make this St.Arseholes Day or whatever it is
called.

Something to think about either way.

Wenger has won 7 FA Cups alone and yet the fans and media are forcing him out of the club. Football is weird sometimes and does not make sense.

Heart breaking losing 8 semi finals FA Cups, however against Man U it was always a 50/50 game. The same last year against Chelsea. Then in the previous years we were usually losing to teams that were much better than us when top 4 clubs during those times were winning the FA Cup most seasons.

The most heart breaking game to lose was against Portsmouth a few years ago under Avram Grant, that game I felt we choked.

Hopefully our time will come again soon. COYS

Yes but both Portsmouth and Wigan have won the cup in those intervening years and we still can't make it to a final perhaps as a suggestion it's about time we won one of those 50/50 games for once.

Kane looks to be trying to play through an injury that really could do with time off, an operation, or both. Looks like he's terrified of not winning the golden boot, missing the world cup, or both. And Pochettino is terrified of upsetting him. Great player, but so pivotal to our club's future that his desires are eclipsing what is best for the team?

This whole golden boot thing is getting pathetic. The FA only gave him the goal to cause a stir and make this kane vs salah a big deal. Its costing us points.

Why do people keep using two teams who faced bankrupcey not more than 3-5 years ago as something of a barometer?

Jesus fucking christ.

What the fuck are you on about it has been noted that teams other than the fantastic four can win things, so trying to get the arsehole everytime someone brings a tangible fact to the table all you have done is snipe since yesterday at anyone who has an opinion, we have listened to yours and we get it now fuck off and go do the washing up or cut the grass goodbye.

You don't drop your number one GK in a game this big.

Why not? Vorm has been playing all of our fa cup games and we've progressed to the semi final. dropping him then shows no faith in him and that Lloris has only been warming the bench for him

Using Portsmouth and Wigan while being a fact is is such a shit barometer of how to prove a point. That Silverware does what for those fans?

Nothing.

Keep peddling the doom and gloom, you only post when we lose.

Very disappointed. Hardly surprising after attending 8 consecutive FA Cup semi final defeats.
There are still areas we need to improve.
We have to take it on the chin though and believe we are a great club going forward, not lose faith and in doing so start going backwards.
Top priority now top 4 obvs. If we start with that in the fantastic new ground, we will all feel much better than we do today.

Oh and why was there a minutes applause for Ugo at the start of the game? I understand Ray Wilkins as he’s only just passed away but Ugo was over a year ago.

Don’t get me wrong sad sad loss to the club as a whole but are we seriously going to have a moment of appreciation for Ugo at every FA cup semi final we play?

At what cost though ? Both those teams have been in League One this year, admittedly Wigan have just been promoted back to the Championship - Personally I'd love to see another cup win, having been spoiled during the 1970/80s but I would prefer staying in the PL, not flirting with relegation.

The global game has changed so much, money and dark arts seem to dictate a lot of what goes on nowadays.

There's been progress but plenty of heartbreak too.

I can't walk away from supporting Spurs, it's my life and my cross to bear too.

Yes, sorry, what?

You have barely posted when we weren't losing football matches ... I don't mind constructive criticism, but you just want to peddle doom for the sake of it.

All good though, opinions, narritve or not have a place on a board such as this, keep peddling :)

It doesnt matter that they went down, the fact is they won a trophy in a KO format tournament against big teams. Us winning a cup isnt going to get us relegated form the PL.

Our club is run in a way that this will never happen.

Why is it people keep mentioning bankruptcy when these teams are mentioned all I'm saying is that other teams can win the cup if the belief is there.
We will never go bust while levy is in charge and rightly so but we are all hurting today and the excuses for our failure to end the trophy drout doesn't stack up for me.

If you have that much faith in him then he would be your no1 keeper.
He isnt.
You dont risk a chance of getting to a final and winning some much needed silverware based on possibly upsetting your 2nd choice goalkeeper and thats what he is, 2nd choice.
It was a mistake by Poch, as was publicly stating that its not important whether we win or not.
Second time he's done so. I was hoping he'd learnt from last time but obviously not.
Its clear to me that Poch has absolutely no interest in winning any trophies unless its the cl or the league neither of which is gonna happen so basically imo we're not gonna see anything while he's the manager. Not saying I want him out, just saying he doesnt care so get used to it.
On a side note if I was one of the better players those 2 factors I mentioned and yesterdays result would be it for me. I'd be off to somewhere for more money and a club that actually takes competitions seriously. Sure some will now unfortunately.

Mourinho just knows what it takes to win the big games. Got to give him credit especially with a defence that consists of 2 wingers and 2 average CB's.
