Hoping to see more of a flow through the team than we've seen so far with our midfield taking control and moving the ball quickly. Im hoping to see Lo Celso and Ndombele in the CM areas making things happen

Let's get Son back in the team. Needs game time before next week. Hope we move the ball quickly regardless of formation and players. We need to start dictating the tempo in these matches.

Not sure how you added the image but it wasn't working. The easiest way is to just drag the image across into the text window.

I want us to put 5 past this lot. Never liked them. Seeing Bullets write up with them taking more points off us barring villa makes me want them completely outplayed on Sunday.

I'd love to see us show our class in this game, but I think Bruce did a good job in his press conference creating a us against the world mentality for his team, I imagine they want to prove a lot of people wrong and I hope we have enough quality to put a convincing score up against a team who will have a lot of pride on the line.

Tanganga isn't in the u23 squad today, wonder if he'll be on the bench again?

I reckon if it was almost any other team he'd be playing this weekend, think they're taking a risk as Newcastle haven't looked great that we can give him some rest.

Going to be another one of those injury galore seasons then, eh? Maybe change your training methods, poch? Its been quite clear over the last 5 years they are conducive to hamstring, thigh and calf problems.

The fact they differentiated from a thigh injury to him and hamstring injuries to Dele and Sessegnon tells me that it's not a hamstring injury.

Has it been confirmed as a hamstring injury? Just a minor thigh problem no?

It's not a hamstring injury, why would they call dele/sess a hamstring injury and ndombele a minor thigh injury otherwise.

Not ideal but even if he can't make the NLD - you would hope to have a very fit and fresh player after the international break. We 'should' have enough to beat Newcastle and get a point at Arsenal regardless.

Dele back is very encouraging.

Suspect we could see:

Lloris - KWP, Toby, Sanchez, Rose - Winks, Sissoko - Dele, Eriksen, Son - Kane

Bench from: Gazza, Davies, Jan, Aurier, Dier, Skipp, GLC, Moura, Lamela

Thought they called ndombele’s a hamstring?

Edit: Yep. I read it wrong. Chalk that up to just waking up and being half asleep.

Still believe we’re seeing these types of injuries far too often. My point regarding poch’s training methods stands..

Yup - agreed. Not sure where this fear of a hammy has come from..
