I bet NDombele could play parts of the game if this was NLD or Liverpool. But since NLD is the next game, makes sense to just rest him and gear up for the big game.

Thought they called ndombele’s a hamstring?

Nope, thankfully they called it a minor thigh injury, I think they hamstring injuries are rarely small so hoping it's either a dead leg or his abductors are sore which can be overcome quite quickly.

We should have enough to beat Newcastle and would be a good chance for Lo Celso to make a full debut. Things don't look so shaky now when we get 1 injury. Sissoko, Winks, Lo Celso in a midfield 3 works for me but I'd be amazed if we didn't go 4231

Lamela, Lucas and Eriksen will make up the 3 behind Kane which could leave Lo Celso, Alli and Son on the bench. Bloody strong that!

Wouldn't expect Lo Celso to play much part. Poch says he is not fit and not up to the standard he expects yet.

Poch: "Lo Celso is a situation that is not going to be easy. Was in extended holidays after the Copa America, he didn't have a proper pre-season and didn't train much. Then signed for us after a week without training.

"He's training well but is so far away from what we expect from him. We need to give him time and we won't expect too much from him."

Hopefully after the international break everyone will be up to speed, we seem to have a few players lacking fitness/match sharpness

At this point of the season I honestly couldn't give a hoot about 'performance'...3 points is my everything, performances will come.
Like they did last year? I agree with the first sentiment, the second is currently just blind optimism.

Surely Son has to start or am I missing something? He's completely fit but was just suspended so should be raring to go.

I wonder if its a little harsh on Moura especially after he did so well off the bench but you can argue we need minutes for Son if hes to start against Arsenal.

It doesn't HAVE to be one or the other Mauricio...

Son will be so fucked off if he doesn't start after missing the first 2 games and is so vital to our attack. I think there's no way Poch leaves him out.

As for Lucas, I agree that he deserves a start but I reckon Poch is more likely to leave out Lamela or Eriksen than start him ahead of Son.

Circumstances were vastly different though weren't they?
ie: no new signings, exhausted players.

Dike fucking Mean. I'm not going to act gentlemanly about this, I hope he misreads a run, collides with Sissoko and gets a season long injury.

Bar last season that's always been the case, Spurs fans tend to have extremely short memories though...

He's not going to be match sharp so would make more sense bringing him on.

Of course N'Dombele is injured, put him in my bloody dream team yesterday! I take full responsibility!
