Our final balls were all blocked and saved. So fucking gut-wrenching.

I really wish to see their keeper having some blunders to make up for it. He can't be that good. Fucking hell.

Weird stuff, 14 attempts at goal to their 1 and were losing.

Anyway Erik will be on sooner or later to carry us as usual

We don't have nil because of their superhuman goalie. We have nil because of our inept finishing.

A proper disaster of a CL campaign, like 2 years ago all over again.
So far it hasn't been great agree although I never felt we was ever going to top the group but second spot was doable, but it has been a poor effort in the group stage so far although tonight's performance has been good in the main.

Where has our fast passing, free scoring team gone???
to be honest, im not that bothered about tonight, would rather we lose in a way as may mean we miss out on EL, with the squad we have we cant afford a European season after January and we aint winning either for the same reason, our squad is down to the bare bones

If we lose the game this evening and go out of the competition tonight, I'd like to see us go all out for the Ignominy Exit and score some comical own goals/[other assorted Keystone Cops antics] in losing our remaining games to Inter and Barca. If you're going to fuck it all up, you may as well at least do it memorably.

We're in control of the match, but lack the finish touch. Anticipating a good second half and a win for us. COYS

This is very similar to how we have been playing in CL. I think some of our best passages of football this year has been in the competition. We've been a bit unlucky here and there. And also made mistakes that have undermined the great work. To me, this is consistent with how things have been going for us in the group.
I'd love to see us turn it around in the 2nd half. But it's gonna be tricky.

I don’t get this ‘goalie having a worldy, thing. Two shots right at him and a Alli scuff. Not even been tested really.

Sissoko for Son immediately. Need someone to drive the ball through the middle and disrupt their shape because it's too predictable.
That says it all really. It's depressing as fuck that Sissoko is our best CM option at the moment.
